Mediterraneo seaside Bar-Eatery — Restaurant in South Pilio Municipality

My experience here was extremely disappointing and I wish I had not gone here. When we decided to sit here to go to the beach it was not clearly written anywhere the exact costs to be able to utilize these beach chairs. Perhaps it is somewhere I missed, but I recommend to have it written somewhere on a sign the cost of the umbrellas/chairs. Please be aware to future customers that the cost is currently 2 euros per chair so for 2 people it was 4 euros - a cost we were only made aware of when we received a receipt. I would recommend to go to the place next door (same beach) where they had a sign that said 'free set'.

But ok, you say 4 euros to sit down for 2 people, it's all right.

The worst part is that on top of this charge you are required to spend a minimum of 3.50 euros per person on something from the menu. I had purchased two items that came to less than 3.50 per person (it was 3.50 and 0.50), and when I went to pay the bill I was informed that I must spend an additional 3 euros - to which I was not given a receipt for. My receipt only was provided for 8 euros, not for 11 euros.

I asked the server what is the purpose of the 4 euro charge then? Why am I required to spend 3.50 euros per person in addition to the 4 euro charge for the sunbeds? This makes absolutely no sense.

I should have been informed of all these required charges before sitting - especially the 3.50 euro min. requirement to spend per person is completely uncalled for given the additional cost of the sunbeds and really this should be made clear.

I am extremely disappointed by this and I feel manipulated. As someone who visits Volos every year, and has friends/family who visits, I will definitely warn them from ever going to this place.

They never told us that we have to pay for the sunbeds until the bill came. Also, we had a small ,very simple wrap for 8 euros !! Unbelievable! 14,50 euros just for a coffee and a small sandwich! I had one ice tea for 4 euros, one wrap ( which was not in any way two portions ,but just two small pieces) and it was really simple. Smoked tuna and two vegetables in a really small wrap cannot cost 8 euros !! I have travelled all over the world and this is insane for such location as yours ! So far..4+8=12. Plus 2 euros for the one sunbed and 0,50 for the water. What do you mean I didn't pay 14,50? Are you calling me a lier ? I have the receipt ! As for the sunbeds we never saw any sign that said we have to pay them. Maybe it was somewhere far from the beach, or somewhere hidden. But at least ,the waiter should have informed us that we also have to pay for the sunbeds. The amount was not big, but the way you sell it is totally unprofessional. I would suggest you ,as I am a manager of loads of people, to consider the reviews and not try to make it seem like the client is crazy and doesn't know what he is to talking about. All the things I wrote are facts. Sad facts of course. I don't even know you guys. So, no other...

The most most expensive sun beds in Pelion! A set of two costs 11 euros while the next bar charges only 3 ! The cost break down is 4 euros the umbrella and ‘minimum consumption’ per person at 3.5 euros. We have not ordered anything but we fall in the trap of the min change and we paid 11 euros. Nobody has min consumption in Pelion. Clever marketing or a rip off?? ...
