Our visit to Oasis was nothing short of a disaster. We had a large group gathering, and everyone was looking forward to a delightful dining experience. The initial impression seemed promising as the waiter was amiable and took our extensive orders with a smile. However, the enthusiasm quickly faded when the food arrived.
Both the burger and the steak were horrendously overcooked to the point of being inedible. It was evident that the kitchen staff paid no attention to the preparation of our meals, causing immense disappointment among all of us. We decided to inform the waiter about the problem, hoping for a reasonable solution.
While the waiter was understanding and offered to replace the steak, we were hesitant and opted not to take anything else, which was already after he took the uneaten steak, as soon as it got to the table. That's when things took a turn for the worse. The manager came storming to our table, raising their voice and berating us for daring to criticize their establishment's cuisine. Instead of addressing our concerns politely and professionally, the manager rudely asserted that it was not their fault we didn't like the food.
As paying customers who had ordered a substantial amount of food for a large group, we deserved to be treated with respect and understanding. We were not looking for a free meal; we simply wanted to enjoy the dishes we had paid for. When we politely requested a refund, the manager's response was nothing short of appalling. They mocked us, insinuating that we were just trying to avoid paying for the meal after having consumed it.
It was a disheartening and uncomfortable experience for all of us. We were willing to overlook the mishap if it had been handled professionally, but the manager's behavior was unacceptable. It is the responsibility of a restaurant to ensure that their customers have a pleasant dining experience, and Oasis failed miserably in this regard.
In conclusion, the overcooked food and the manager's disrespectful and hostile response left us deeply dissatisfied and disheartened. We will not be returning to Oasis, and we caution others to reconsider dining there if they value good food and respectful...
Read moreThe food was very tasty. Portions are very large. The quality-price ratio is excellent. The stuffed eggplants were very tasty, saganachi cheese were made in ouzo sauce and more than enough. The fries were fresh and not frozen. The swordfish was very tasty. The service was impeccable. The tavern is located on the shore of the bay and the atmosphere is special. The road to the tavern has some narrower sections, if you choose to come by the water's edge, but the quality of the food will totally compensate...
Read moreQuite a disappointment taking into account good reviews. Waiter was not able to make us a table for 4 in an almost empty restaurant full of tables for 2 or 3 and just one marked reservation. Sea food dishes (octopus and shripms) were weirdly tasteless, shripms were undercooked and smelled. No fresh fish was available -we asked as suggested in the menu. What an irony that the best dish was a chicken salad, that was perfect, together with...
