Coralli Tavern — Restaurant in Thassos Municipality

Don’t go, RUN to this family owned restaurant to eat the best food that you’ll find in Thassos! We had the grilled octopus, seafood orzo, honey sesame feta, fried zucchini and zucchini balls. The grilled octopus is amazing and is perfectly cooked! I always try this dish wherever we eat and the Coralli family have found a perfect way of cooking it. Another must try is the Feta fried in sesame and seasoned with honey (Coralli Feta). You’ll love it and won’t be able to find a similarly prepared feta on the island. Moreso, our waiter catered to our requests and explained all of our dishes and helped us decide on the dishes that we would end up loving at the end. We returned to Coralli after 3 years and can’t wait to get back again and eat the best food that you can find...

Great place to eat. Friendly staff. Good and fresh fish, great view. The manager is always there to help and facilitate. Ask for Nikos. This place, despite the over tourism and the quality of the tourists lately in the island, remains a must-go restaurant in Thassos. Tip: park outside the center and walk a bit. Because of the too many people it is difficult to park nearby. All the meze dishes are great but it's worth trying the big fish they have, if one can afford them. I'm afraid that Thassos will become unsustainable in a few years, but as long as one can go, this is the place to experience the horeca, the way it should be done. Best meal i’ve had in Thassos in the 10 days I’ve been on the island. We had the Feta with honey and walnuts for a starter which was amazing, the fried sesame was lovely. I then had the sun dried octopus whilst my boyfriend had the sea food orzo. The octopus was incredible, and despite the portion looking relatively small it was really filling. Highly recommend with a side of grilled vegetables as it only comes with very little cous cous. The sea food orzo was also incredible, a very generous portion with a good amount of mussells, shrimp etc.

I will mention that it is perhaps on the higher end when it comes to cost too as all the above and a couple of drinks came up to €50
