I visited Thes Meze for lunch whilst on a trip to Thessaloniki. It was extremely quiet so I found myself a table outside and waited to be served. It wasn't long before a gentleman came over with a cold bottle of water and to take my order. I requested a menu in English, as the ones on the table were all in greek, and he duly obliged. There was ample choice for a vegetarian like myself so I ordered Tzatziki with bread, roasted halloumi and fried zucchini. The dishes were served promptly and one by one, as they were all freshly made, and they were absolutely delicious. I asked for a doggy bag as I couldn't finish all of the zucchini. My lunch came to €11 as the bottled water was complimentary and so was a small ice cream cone I received after paying the bill. Read moreReally good and authentic food! The portions are a little bit small for the price but the quality is high. I can recommend from the food point of view. I did not like that they made us pay the verse that we didn’t order and that there was no sauce with anything. A little bit of tzatziki with the fries or the Kalamaries is normal at other restaurants. If you ask for it it’s an other 5€ but then then it’s a dish and not just a side.
