That wasn’t the first time when we came here. Today the experience was awful. We made an order and one of the dishes was zucchini. They brought everything and in 30 mins we asked about the zucchini and a waiter said “do you want them or cancel?” I said “no, bring it”. 20 mins later I stopped another waiter and I asked again “how long will it take??” He said “I will ask now”. He never came back. Then the first waiter approached us “are you done? You want dessert?” I was like “tf, where is our meal I asked you 5 times”. The answer had me dead “o, didn’t they tell you? They have finished”. I was so pissed. I went to a girl who was acting as a responsible for something. Or just making things more chaotic. I explained her. The answer was the most annoying you can get from such a service person “what do you want me to do? Sorry”. So, the service was the worsts. They tried to explain it that it’s a holiday and they have a lot of people. I’m not going to mention a place which is in the same area and it’s always full and going there for years I never left disappointed. It just means you hire random people from the street who are not able not only to create a nice atmosphere where you want to come again and again but also to serve people and simply take an order not making a mess. That’s so sad. This place doesn’t deserve even 4.4 now. Even when you enter the place you don’t know whom to approach to ask where to sit or if there is a free table. Nobody at the entrance. Level of my today’s disappointment is unexplainable. Especially when it’s a holiday 1st may. You must do everything so people have nice experience at your restaurant. I guess the rain and the chaos when I came ware a...
Read moreWe visited Anestis today. The experience was awful. We arrived at the restaurant to have some lunch. We visited the place many times before as we are living in Thessaloniki. When we sat there were many people and a lot of staff. Everyone ironed us. Finally, some woman came to clean a table and brought us drinks. After that, we waited 45 minutes for someone to take an order. We were calling the waitress all the time - they were looking but no one came. They served 4 other tables who arrived after us. Young guys were carrying tables and cleaning them but no people to take an order. Finally, one man came to take an order AFTER 45 MINUTES and I told him what happened. He just said "OK". The girl with leggings (worker) was watching the situation but she didn't say anything. No apologies for the inconvenience. The waitress asked if we paid but I told him no because no one even came with a receipt even though we were calling them as well. In fact, we shouldn't be charged even for these drinks. NO APOLOGIES AT ALL, EVEN TO SAY SORRY. He just said two times "Ok" but the situation was a mess. And asked "So you will not order?" Great example of customer service. 😑 That was a joke. Calling 5 of 6 different staff members and being so ignored. That is the worst customer service ever. I will never recommend...
Read moreGood food, every meat was good, some really good, some just god, and really, I mean really big portions!!! The biggest portions I have ever seen in Greece. But the service absolutely terrible! We wanted the bill to be made for each of the three family, the waiter said he can't do that, we will have to do the math afterwords... Then, another waiter came with the drinks and left of all them at the end of the table and said we can just handle every bottle for every person (we were 11 people...) we just had to give the bottles from hand to hand... In the end they brought the check and there was only in Greek, and was with at least 15 EUR added by pen... I have asked was is this here, what is this there and he said "bread - 11.5 EUR", "water - 6.5 EUR" , and other stuff... I mean, we never asked for bread or water... Anyway, but to be charged 11.5 EUR for let's say 11 slices of bread I think it's to much... In the end we have paid the bill, with that 15 EUR added, after we have served ourselves... So, good food, enormous portions, but totally screwed by the service. We will never...
