Πρίγκιπας 2 — Restaurant in Thermaikos Municipality

While the food at this restaurant was enjoyable, the service left a lot to be desired and significantly impacted our overall experience. Communication was a major issue — the staff struggled to understand our requests in English, which led to several mix-ups. For example, we clearly asked for some dishes to be packed for takeaway, but instead, they were also brought to our table as additional orders.

Ordering in English seems to be problematic here, so I would advise anyone not fluent in Greek to proceed with caution and double-check everything when placing an order.

We also noticed some inconsistencies in service. Other tables received complimentary desserts at the end of their meals, but we were only given extra plates — with no explanation. We had to ask what the plates were for before anything was served, which made the experience feel awkward and impersonal.

The most upsetting part of our visit came after we had paid and left the restaurant. A staff member chased us down the street and accused us of leaving without paying, even though we had settled the bill and had the receipt to prove it. When we showed them the proof of payment, there was no apology or acknowledgment of the mistake — just continued rudeness.

Overall, while the food was good, the poor communication, lack of hospitality, and the humiliating confrontation after our meal made this one of the most disappointing dining experiences we've...

Mussels were cleaned and cooked well but not with much aromatics or any flavor but just sour. Fried zucchini was also tasty and served with a nice dip but unfortunately it was drowning in a ridiculous amount of oil than I've ever been served in Greece so far (and I'm basically going around eating fried zucchini any day I find it). We showed the pool of oil to the waiter but they just shrugged it off and barely acknowledged. Staff were otherwise cordial enough. They have fresh fish to select out back and you may have better luck with your dish selections.

Despite it looking warm and inviting with cute Xmas decor (during December) we didn't appreciate that guests were just permitted to smoke indoor even with a non-smoking sign clearly visible for all to see and available outdoor smoking tables. Those sensitive to it should take note, this happened in another nearby restaurant that we left once we got in and felt the strong...

I would not recommend it. I ordered a burger and asked if fries were included, but instead of the sandwich, I received only meat and fries 🤣 Additionally, they added bread to the order for 3 euros (!) and water for 1 euro (which is an acceptable price). Nobody asked me if I wanted bread, nor did they inform me of the cost beforehand. I didn't eat it but I was forced to pay for it. As a result, the expected 8 euros bill was raised to 12 euros. There was no dessert or anything from the restaurant as a gift. The meat was okay, but the fries were old and not good. There are much better restaurants nearby that will not deceive you, and where you can eat...
