Great bistro, the new owners are very friendly and the food is made from great ingredients. The bistro is running by new owner over the last year. been there twice while we visit Tsagkarada. burgers are home made served with big slices of potatoes chips,. great selection of beers. Big dish of Cesar salad, very rich of fresh and delicious ingredients, very nice amount of chicken. Vegetable pizza with onions, mushrooms green paper and tomatoes. the dough was wonderful and exactly how pizza dough supposed to be. the sauce was in the right amount. Tortellini with tomatoes sauce filled with beef meat was tasty. in the dessert section we tried a traditional frozen chocolate cake and biscuits but the best thing was Ekmek, the traditional dessert made by the owner of the place. Kataifi dough with sauce as a base, vanilla cream and airy whipped cream. The best desset.

We visited twice while staying in Tsagarada in April. The first time was for cocktails. We had a "zombie" and their signature cocktail "apalou," which was very refreshing and light. The second visit was for lunch, we had a fresh green salad with grilled haloumi cheese, fresh ravioli with a spinach filling and a parmesan cream sauce and a burger with a homemade bun. For dessert, which are also made in-house, we had a millefeuille (super light and fluffy cream) and a chocolate souffle served with ice cream. Portions are huge! Everything is fresh and tasty! Both drinks and food were great!

Unlike most Greek touristic restaurants, which tend to offer more or less the same well-proven and popular menu items at a decent but not spectacular quality, this place surprised us with a concise and inventive menu with some original dishes and also some familiar ones but with a definite creative twist. The service was excellent: informative, fun and felt rather personal whilst still being unobtrusive. The preparation was spot-on, the ingredients were fresh and all meals were cooked to order (even some desserts). Additional bonus points for the desserts: usually in Greece they're too sweet, but here both items we ordered were very well balanced.
