Mill Bar — Restaurant in Zakynthos Municipality

We honestly, absolutely, love this place. We stayed at the all inclusive down the beach but never used it we just came here all the time we even joked that this was as our all inclusive. Breakfast, lunch and evening meals are amazing but that's not all... the staff are the best, so welcoming, attentive and they actually care, which is really nice. Honourable shout outs to Mayas favourites Lucy, Jess and Pascalie (not spelt correctly). It would be wrong of me not to mention that the tzatziki and hummas are honestly the best we've had, super fresh, homemade very delicious. The shows are just top notch... we did 3 lots this year. Elton John - really good, very entertaining. ABBA - really good, gets you in the mood for a good dance. Greek night - unreal, did this last time we visited as well and it just doesn't get worse it only gets better, we absolutely love it, we've done loads of the years but this is the best and the food you have before hand, all fresh and beautiful. We read glowing reviews of the Greek Night and everyone told us it was the best in the area. Sadly, we were a bit disappointed. The price was €30 per person but the vegetarian offering was so much less than what the meat eaters got. Two tiny halloumi kebabs - 4 cubes of halloumi and some salad. I thought that should have been charged at half the price or more options offered like dolmades or gigantes - plenty of veggie greek food could have been offered to make it better value. The dancers were OK - but not especially interactive with people, and the plate smashing element was pretty awful. I had thought. for the price you would at least get a welcome drink but no drinks were included so we spent a lot on top of the ticket price too. The Mill Bar is the perfect spot to spend a relaxing day on the island! Over our two-week stay, we found ourselves coming back again and again — it’s just that good.

We loved starting our mornings with breakfast upstairs, enjoying the beautiful beach views. Highly recommend The Bigger Breakfast and the sausage butties — both were absolutely delicious!

One day we brought our towels and spent the whole day by their pool. It was blissfully peaceful, with chilled-out music, refreshing drinks throughout the day, and then lunch downstairs at the restaurant. The gyros are incredible — whether you go for the plate or the pitta, you can’t go wrong.

Julie, Lucy, Nicos, Spiros and the whole team made us feel so welcome. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and the service was always spot-on.
