Sadly I have to say that we were really disappointed by the way that the staff treated us at first we came up to the tavern and a guy almost asked what are you doing here so I said we have a friend inside and that we want to go and have a drink with him so he sent his colleague inside and then he returned and he was talking something to us in greek so we didn’t understand and then the other guy took us inside and said that if we don’t order food that we have to sit somewhere else so we ordered the greek salad… The greek salad was a normal portion but it wasn’t anything special felt like it was made out of the cheapest stuff our friend had the chicken fillet the portion was not that big but it was ok.. After a question to the staff member if they are having a bad day is why they are treating us like this he answered “too many people” and arrogantly left.. Another small detail was while we were paying since we don’t understand greek we translated the receipt and we had bread in it too which we didn’t have 🤷🏼‍♂️ after we confronted him with this he said ok and subtracted the money from the payment. Other than that the view from the restaurant is nice just the staff also no wifi is provided by the taverna so no signal there. When we were leaving we asked the 2 guys in front of the taverna why did they treat us this way and they said “too hot, too many people” which I feel is a really bad response while it is your job and you are also working in this sector so 🤷🏼‍♂️ All in all I can’t recommend this taverna sadly although I liked how it...

We had made a reservation for the sun lounges and we were fully aware that they hold the booking until 11am, unfortunately we arrived 20 minutes late and we had called up ahead to let them know. They made us aware over the phone that they can’t guarantee they will be able to hold our booking (which we totally understand) but we decided to go and try our luck anyway. Sadly, upon arrival we were greeted by a young man (apparently son of the owner) who had the most disgusting attitude. I apologised for being late and asked if it would be possible to find a spot for us. He started tapping his watch, whilst raising his voice and continuously saying we are late. I did not like the way i was spoken to, so I asked if there is somebody else responsible to which I can speak to. He started SHOUTING that he is the boss and he said I have to leave right now and he became EXTREMELY EXTREMELY AGGRESIVE, swearing and screaming at all the staff telling everyone to kick out me and my friend. Now just to mention, that we did not make any drama whatsoever. If they had told us that they have no space for us in a normal manner, we would just leave, instead we got kicked out from the venue only because I asked to speak to somebody else. I understand and respect a restaurant’s grace policy, but surely owners, staff or whoever should not be swearing and shouting at their guests and kicking them out because they arrived 20 minutes late! Beautiful place, owned by a very unprofessional kid, managed by extremely unprofessional staff! Avoid...

the worst staff I've ever encountered on holidays. At the restaurant they charged 9 euros on the bill for the bread, as we refused the bread at the start because we did not have to. After that ,because we did not let tips, the guy who served us blame us in the greek language, one of us understood the language. The next day we only drank at the beach because in that restaurant we are not going anymore, and at the sunbeds we had an unforgettable experience: our group didn't came together so at lunch when 3 of us go to eat the last 3 others arrive on the beach, giving them their sunbeds normally cuz we were all together, but the staff immediately came to ask us once again the money on them, when I said it was not right because they were coming back, and the 3 ones was our friends but they bring the meneger (like he said but he was looking like another from the staff but was the must rude of them ) and he started screaming at us to leave all of the sunbeds if not they will call for security! something unintelligible. after a big fight with some big, unimaginable rude staff, they immediately brought another group to our table-friends sunbeds place who paid them. I'm saying it was already 15 o'clock and at 5:30 PM you have to leave the sunbeds because they are closing. Is a wonderful view and a wonderful place to visit there, but that place with sunbeds and the restaurant deserves to be praised...

It’s worth the trip for the view alone. Possibly the best waters I have ever swam in, in Europe. Beautiful Blue crystal clear waters and it’s a joy to swim with the little fish! Now into the tavern…. What a clever little money maker! How they managed to be the only food place at the port area is very good luck indeed! The place gets BUSY - I was quite surprised and we didn’t even go on an exceptionally hot day! There was rain! Their sun bed system needs more work though, we found a lovely bed with no belongings and the staff said it was free, only to be kicked off after 10 minutes! The original purchasers forgot to place their belongings on the chairs to show it’s taken so make sure you do this! We were then directed to ONE sun bed, between the 2 of us. Good thing I’m tiny and petite and could fit on this with my fiancé! Service - the woman with sun beds, she’s great. The remaining staff - they were friendly. It’s a chaotic restaurant, staff numbers appear to be restricted. It took a while to get a seat and it’s frustrating when you see about 6 tables free just standing there…. Service is slow, but food was great! I ordered the souvlaki. I’m glad I came but I would advise you set off early to get the bed you want!

The setting at Porto Limionas is absolutely stunning the views and crystal clear waters are by far the highlight and worth the visit on their own. We booked a cabana which was comfortable and gave us a great spot to enjoy the scenery. Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired. When we arrived, the lady who greeted us came across as quite condescending and even a little rude, which was not the warm welcome we were hoping for. The waiter who looked after us later was genuinely kind and attentive, which made a big difference, but sadly this wasn’t consistent with the rest of the staff. The waitress we interacted with also seemed unfriendly and dismissive. As for the drinks the cocktails were disappointing for the price. Given the location and cost, we expected better quality and balance in the flavors. Overall, Porto Limionas is worth a stop for the breathtaking views and waters, but the tavern itself really needs to improve on both service and drinks to match the beauty of its surroundings.

So everything about this area besides the restaurant is a solid 5 stars. The view and the cove are amazing and I highly recommend going there if you're in Zakynthos. The restaurant however isn't great. The waiters were rude and made us feel very unwelcome. We wanted to just order drinks and enjoy the view but they forced us to buy food if we wanted to see the sunset. We ordered a "cucumber salad" and got a plate of cucumbers, not sure what I was expecting but it wasn't this. Also the prices we ended up paying didn't match the menu. All in all we were quite upset over the restaurant but managed to watch the beautiful sunset and only pay around 15 euros for some cucumbers and some wine. Also the lounging chairs were 10 euros a chair for us so they seem to change prices based on other reviews I've read about this place
