El Gran Alcázar — Restaurant in Municipio de Quetzaltenango

A Gran Alcazar in Floresta is a fun place to enjoy good gourmet pizza with friends and family. Although the pizza is good, the restaurant provides a great atmosphere to enjoy a meal with friends and family; and that’s the best part about the restaurant. I rate the pizza very good, but not my favorite in Quetzaltenango. The menu has lots to offer such as appetizers, pastas and meats. The main dining room is upstairs and is quite nice with lamps for comfort. We had a large party and the service was attentive. The appetizers and pizza came out quickly and everyone was pleased. I definitely would return to this very nice restaurant in Xela....

My expectations on this place were high due to reviews and was hyped to have the chance to eat here; and the pizzas' flavor, texture and presention certainly did meet them. The service (I had yo walk up to the desk to request a menu, drinks, extras and the check), the lack of music, the tiny place to accommodate a medium size group, and the insta-coffe I got, sure wasn't what I expected.
