Read moreFood was delicious as always. Nonetheless, the service was not – even close – as great as it used to be.
We arrived closer to 2pm, and the room did not seem intensely busy. It did not take long to order and about 30 minutes till the starters were brought to the table. The food was nice and tasty as usual; however, the service was slow and somehow indifferent. We finished the starters and waited almost another half hour minutes for the main to arrive, during that time no one came to clear the table nor to remove the starters’ plates and silverware, even though enough waiters were walking around in a slow pace. So, it was not a surprise when the steaks came to the table and there was not enough room for them. Are you saying that they are killed humanely before being cooked?
We had old tenderstem brocolli presented to us which was yellow in the flower once boiled - I sent this back requesting new brocolli which arrived in the same condition. I also had some mouldy leaves in the mini salad we were given. Bernaise sauce was so over worked it was more like butter. We had 3 different waiters serve us. The guys who cleared our plates asked how are food was, to which I said - it was only fine.
Good quality meat for chateaubriand but small portions for sides and you had to pay extra for a sauce….🤷‍♀️ - having been to many of your competitors it seems that you are the minority in asking to pay for a sauce. Most don't, and side portions are more generous elsewhere.
Would not...
