Lovely traditional pub, obviously well cared for with a very friendly lady serving who was happy to have a chat. We called in the evening after having been to a nearby restaurant. Pleased to see a couple of cask ales on, one of which was a local brew. I tried them both and they were both excellent so the landlord certainly knows how to keep his beer perfect. I imagine it would be a great place to watch live sport. Decorated with loads of interesting football and rugby (only union though not proper rugby, league) flags. Overall...

Been coming to this pub a while now when visiting the island. Great place to watch rugby and they always make an effort to get my game on if it’s available. The atmosphere, staff and locals are always friendly and I almost feel like a local myself. Today I ate here for the first time and I was not disappointed, I had a steak baguette and my friend the pie of the day/week (not sure which it is) and both were fantastic. I cannot recommend...
