Boukanye — Restaurant in Commune Cap-Haïtien

Well place was nice and great location. However service was terrible. After ordering food it took 1 hour before serving it to us, come to find out they give us the wrong order. While the server take another 45 minute before bringing the correct food it's was around 11pm and we get there by 9pm. We order 3 different meal didn't get the side rice and when I ask the server she have the nerve to tell me there was no rice. While I pay for the whole meal she waited after we order to let us know that. I ask to speak to a manager and the manager was to bussy to assist us by sending another server saying " I'm bussy I'm preparing for a birthday party " like we not paying for the service and it was around 11pm seriously that was he excuse. Very upset leaving the building I ask another server(Guerline)for her manager name she stated she doesn't know he's name. And I was like how you dont know your manager name if you working here. My advice to you if you going for the bar go for it but if you hungry do not even bother order your meal there. Just get ready to get your food after 24 hour. My whole family comes here several times per month. Sometimes several times per week! Lol. They are open early for awesome breakfasts, and they have a great blend of both local cuisine and food that is loved around the world too. I have loved everything I’ve tried here - and I don’t say that about the other major restaurants in our area.

My parents love having meetings here with clients during the daytime, as there are many different sections to the restaurant’s layout. It’s easy to have a private meeting or even a large party/group gathering.

My mom and dad come here often for the evening concerts and music too. They say the bar is fabulous. This place has a cool Instagram account that shows photos of many of their drinks and food. This is my restaurant of choice any day...

The food was not as expected. They took a long time to serve a dish that was marked "daily" special on the board.

To be fair, there was a little modification as per our requests. I am not sure that should have made them take long to serve. However, the meal size was not much for the price offered.

The service wasn't warm, and I had to get the waitress' attention when I needed something. I could have spent more but decided to get the meanl and leave.

The location is huge, but the theme is not that impressive. The place has a lot of open space. The tables are covered with green clothes.

The ambiance was calm and not enough to make a person want to sit more and spend money.

Hopefully, next time I go to Cap Haitian, I'll try to eat there and see if there are...
