We had a great dinner last night after picking up family members from the ferry. We started with the sampler, which is quite large and yummy, and then for main courses we had the Italian meatball sub (I will probably just get the meatballs next time, the bread was good, but a little too much food for me), chicken Caesar salad, the Point burger, loaded chicken nachos, and the guacamole burger. Everything was very delicious, but the absolute winning aspect of The Point is the customer service. Utila has many, many restaurants and most have delicious food. Sadly, not all have really great service. There was once a beautiful restaurant on the water that had terrific promise, but it took over an hour to get food and you had to go to the bar to get your own drinks because the staff was not what you would expect in an expensive restaurant. Beautiful spot. On the water, with a pool. Shaded seating and large suntanning deck with lounge chairs. North American menu with Daily Specials. Everything on it is good.
