Wine Attic — Restaurant in Útila

We stumbled upon Wine Attic through some friends we were visiting, and what a fantastic discovery it turned out to be! It is an absolute must-visit during your stay in Utila! I recently celebrated my birthday there with my boyfriend, and it was an incredible experience. The outdoor patio is charming and cozy, creating the perfect ambiance for a memorable evening. Our hosts, Steph and Michael, were exceptionally friendly and hospitable. They guided us through their impressive wine selection, ensuring we found the perfect fit for our preferences. The variety of wines available catered to every taste, and their custom charcuterie boards were a delicious complement to our chosen wine. And oh, the homemade scotch eggs were a highlight! We shared one initially, but it was so good that I couldn't resist ordering a second one. The flavor was so delicious that even now, the thought of it has me drooling lol! Overall, the Wine Attic provided an unforgettable experience. From the warm hospitality of the hosts to the delightful selection of wines and mouthwatering charcuterie, it's an absolute treasure on the island. A visit here is an absolute must for anyone seeking a perfect blend of great wine, delicious bites, and a cozy ambiance.

Fabulous first time experience. Tucked away from the main street high up in the trees on a foliage filled deck. Calm lighting. Comfortable indoor & outdoor seating (limited, consider a reservation). Soft but fun modern music sets the tone.

The scotch eggs were delicious! Full flavoured cheeses served w hot from the oven bread. Sometimes hard to get real breakfast sausage or charcuterie meats / cheese in Utila, so this is a treat.

All glasses for beers & wine are double lined (prevent condensation). & Real glass (this of course makes a difference).
