My favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Budapest. First of all here you find more Vietnamese then Hungarian people. I love pho but here I always exclusively ask for something different. This time I tried the duck and it was really nice. They have several kinds of seafood as well and lot of vietnamese drink mostly commercial but the green tea I tried brought back the memories when I visited Asia. The staff is very polite and try to be helpful as long as they know what you ask since the language they use is mostly vietnamese as well. It is fine for me. It is also interesting to see how the people eat here. Table full of nice looking food, sometimes the have some drinks from outside the restaurant but none cares about it since they order a lot. The decorations are in the second or third place since the guests are giving the atmosphere of the place. I wish I could eat here in a company of a vietnamese couple of family and they would explain me the dishes and culture a bit more. Needles to say the food is good and the prices are very reasonable. This place is something else on a good way. I hope it...
Read moreHello people!
Was my first time to try “pho” soup here. The place was my friend’s recommodation, wich was perfect.
The prices is super cheap, the portions are so big, we ate big soup for 1500 HUF ($5) and it was aprx. 1liter. I couldn't finish either. 😀 The rice noodels is home made, the staff is super nice, is only problem with the language, but is understandable.
Totally i paid 4300 HUF for 2 big soup 2 coke and 2 portion chicken breast with the sweet chille dip. I wanted leave tipps also from 5000 HUF but the funny guy by the cashier give me back almost all of them. He said just come back again. :)
Btw the restaurant after we ordered was so busy, people standing and waiting for free table...
Read moreWe were in the restaurant several times during our 10 day stay in Budapest and we absolutely loved each visit. The staff was super friendly, the service was very fast and the food was absolutely fabulous. It was like we finally met a part of the family we never knew existed. I'm sorry that i didn't ask the young man's name who served us, so i can mention him by name, but i really hope that he'll read this review and will recognize himself. A person who had always a smile on his face, took the time to greet every customer and had the most colorful description of the dishes I've ever heard :D I can only say that if we're in town again, this will be the place we'll...
