Remiz Coffeehouse and Brasserie — Restaurant in Budapest

This restaurant is not foreigner friendly. I used to be a customer and today I have just been cheated being brought much bigger portion than the one I ordered and clearly pointed out on the menu. I even specified the number. I have been answered they don't use the numbers on the menu. I said I would have paid anyway but that I had been brought a different thing from the one I asked the owner said I pointed out the wrong thing and just walked away. "Honoring traditional tastes and following today’s trends." is their motto but the food is far from both. I went with friends (it was their choice) and asked for sg veggie based. Not having anything on the menu is bad enough but what I was offered was hardly edible although they did their best. Been going here for 10+ years, albeit not too frequently.

I really like the place, might be biased because of the nostalgia factor. Beautiful piano, tasty food and attentive.

One star off because objectively speaking without the nostalgia factor, you get exactly what you pay for, but it doesn't exceed it.
