Pleasant location, food and drinks a bit weird.

The owner commented below, so here I am adding the details - we asked for cappuccino and to our great surprise were asked if it was to be with milk or cream. Surprised, we asked for cream and got plain black coffee with whipped cream on top, most likely from a ready made spray. That's what I call a weird drink. I also got a waffle with pepperoni sausage, some grated cheese, and sour cream in the middle. My wife got a waffer with jam, wanilla pudding, and whipped sour cream at its side. That's what I call weird food. I do know Hungarian food very well, I love it, however, the food you serve has nothing to do with Hungarian cuisine, these are some bizzare experiments on customers. I also do know Mosonmagyarovar, have been there many times and probably will in the future, but not in your place. Congratulations for being full every day, maybe that's because most facilites in the vicinity have been closed due to low season or Covid_19. Good service, nice waffles but things went a bit weird when I asked to pay by card. Apparently, I should have asked before asking for the bill. He asked me sternly if I had cash, like I was trying to avoid paying. Yes, I had cash just it’s convenient to pay with a card in the 21st century.

My point was that when I asked to pay by card, I was told that I should have asked this before asking for the bill. How was I to know this as it is a first for me. It was the attitude that upset me. I’m genuinely trying to offer suggestions that might help as I travel a lot.

I was back again this month and enjoyed visiting. I would say you probably want to vary your music a bit more. It’s on a loop with the same vocalist and she isn’t very good.

Also I think the cafe latte could be served a bit hotter. It’s sort of luke warm.

Service in Hungary generally isn’t that good so this cafe compares...

I went to dentist opposite and came here for a coffee afterwards. Great shop! Loveky outdoor seating and good little menu. Lots of drinks and cocktails. Ice cream! I had latte, very good. I also ordered their egg mish mash, 4 eggs scrambled, with cheese, bacon, ham and toast on the side. Eggcelent... Also had waffles with Nutella and banana. Delicious. Needed more Nutella. Friendly staff. No problem with communication a combination of German and English. I paid by credit card but most places are happy to take Euro instead of Hungarian Florent.

Not expensive, approximately 350 florist to 1 euro or 300 florist to 1 us dollar.
