A great little shops for tourist or anyone to warm up from the cold! My friend and I stayed just under two hours after exploring the nearby mountains and both thoroughly enjoyed the coffee late, Swiss mocha, and strawberry vanilla tea! I got a slice of apple cake with whip cream which was so tasty and moist! If this is available when you go I’d highly suggest it. My friend got what we think was some sort of breakfast pastry that tastes like a breakfast sandwich but was only the pastry bread, cheese and seasoning! It was delightful! The lovely younger lady working was very kind and willing to answer all our question about Iceland! The shops had lots to offer besides a unique place to warm up! They had games to purchase ( i don’t recall if they had any to play while there but they may of ) lots of knitted children’s toys which were beautifully made as well as lots of books of different genres. Highly recommend! Thanks for the...

Absolutely must stop for a snack or coffee here if you are visiting Kirkjufell. The mountain is visible from the cafe seating. Very easy to get to, right off the main road. There is free parking right in front of the cafe.

The cheesecake is absolutely TO DIE FOR!! Clearly homemade, we even got the first slices of the day. (Then went back and got another)

We also had the chocolate truffle, which was very tasty, rich, not overly sweet. The skyr blueberry cake was also very tasty.

Swiss mokkas were made right there with freshly made whipped cream and a true espresso machine.

Shortly after we arrived a group of 6 or 7 people came in and the owner went through there orders very quickly.

There is a...

We stopped in here for lunch and had the best tomato soup we have ever had. It came with amazing homemade bread. It’s a small spot with lots of books and crafty items for sale. Two young girls were running the store the day we stopped in and they were super nice. The town is very small and very pretty. The scenery is amazing. Well worth the stop. One of favorites in our entire trip...
