Walked inside this lovely place last month with my boyfriend, we ordered pancakes. We didn't notice the closing time and arrived there just 5 minutes before... but the guys there were super nice and very polite, and instead of just telling us to leave, they gave us the biggest pancakes I've ever seen in my life, even added a small jar of home made jam for free, and we all had a good laugh about the enormous pancakes. When I noticed the closing time I was really embarrassed, so ofcourse I apologized, but the guys were so friendly and fun and just made us feel welcome and take our time.

So - I recommand this place big time! It's fun, the pancakes are tasty, the atmosphere is great, the service is amazing, what's not to...

Loved the food, and staff was friendly. Looked like one of them was new and getting some training, but after a couple hiccups in the ordering process, we were all good. Seemed like right at opening, they're still getting things figured out. They had a sandwich of the day, but they hadn't figured out what it was just yet. We had ham, egg, cheese instead, and it was delightful. I especially liked whatever sauce the cook put on the sandwich. Coffee was solid too, although the cappuccino could have been a little hotter. Would have liked to try the pizza because I hear it's really good. Really glad they opened "Iceland early" too. Not many places open early enough for an early riser like me to...

Stopped in for breakfast and coffee and we were blown away. This is a fantastic spot. They are making their own bread here and it is superb. This was the perfect base for an awesome Avocado toast. Everything about our breakfast was spot-on and delicious but the coffee deserves a serious nod. This is the best coffee I had in a two-week trip around Iceland and I would say some of the best coffee I've ever had. A local roaster handles the beans and they are sold in bulk at this shop as well as used for the in-house coffee. I bought a bag and ground them fresh each morning for a home-made pour over during camping/trekking - SUPERB. This is a...

Fresh and scrumptious with a homey vibe. Quite unassuming at first glance next to a gas station. The Filling Station is also a grocery delivery service across Iceland, and you can really taste the quality of the ingredients in the food. Everything is incredibly well done and made with care. There is not really a “menu”; you can order what you want to eat along the lines of brunch. The atmosphere is bright and lively, with a view of the mountains and an open kitchen. Highly recommend the pancakes with marmalade (some of the best marmalade), eggs with veggies, and fresh orange juice.

Looks like 3 foreigners friends open the cafeteria, in the moment that entrance the smell of baking bread is delightful. They are very friendly a little slow service but the wait time is worth it, beautiful presentation of the food, well served. And good flavor. Dont have drinks for kids. Outside is any publicity of the place, i believe still the name of the cafeteria was before them. Is next to the gas station of Orka, plenty parking lot. They sell some stuffs

What a gem! We had the shakshuka and WOW - sooo flavorful I could've licked my plate! The baked breads are delicious, the service was friendly and made us smile. Even had a couple of sweet dates - yum! I ordered a fresh-made orange/carrot/ginger juice and it was great, too. The restaurant itself is very cute. Absolutely loved this place and if you're in town you should definitely stop in ❤️
