Meistarinn is Stykkishólmur's one and only hot dog stand. The hot dogs are deep fried and come with some special condiments that you don't really find in other hot dog places, like melted cheese and baked beans for example. If you're going for a dog I would recommend Þórhildur but if you'd like a sub get the Lubbi's Uncle. The only downside is the service is really slow. If there is a line with 5+ people, expect to wait for about 15 minutes.

We got a few Hotdogs and a sub. The hotdogs are great but the sub was superb, extremely stuffed and everything was freshly prepared. Great selection of sauces and spices. The lady was friendly and for Iceland the food was not expensive at all.

It was good, they make hotdogs like this all over Iceland. Perhaps try it when there is not a queue, we had to give up the first time, because even three people in front of us were too many, the service is rather slow.
