Skippers is a pretty cool bar-restaurant! It’s quite small but very cozy. We went there for lunch on a Sunday, as it was one of the few places open in the area. The menu is simple — they only serve burgers, chicken salad, fish & chips, and a few kids’ dishes.

Even so, they offer a good variety of burgers. We ordered the Camembert and the Bacon ones. If you go for the Camembert, keep in mind it comes with Camembert bites rather than Camembert around the patty. All burgers come with fries 🍟 and a dip of your choice, which we really appreciated.

The quality of the burger meat was excellent, which we really liked. However, the waiting time was quite long , which kept our experience from being a full 5⭐. The place was either understaffed or was just unprepared - empty tables weren’t cleaned for a while, they ran out of ingredients for half their menu (ketchup, salmon, bacon), and it took 40 minutes for us to get our water when it came with the food even after asking multiple times for it.

The food was mediocre at best and classically overpriced. While eating we noticed new guests being turned down even though it was 1.5 hours before their 10pm close and half the tables were empty (but not cleaned after guests left).
