This place. . . Don't even know where to start: so we had to stay in lovely hotel Bed and Breakfast next to this place and due to stormy weather had no choice just have to dinne there. So we walk in and its half busy restaurant. Half of the tables were free but still with dirty plates on them. So we choose one cleared it and then we were ready to order food. We picked what we would like to order , went to order and there was like a Mc'donalds system where you get your order number and then wait to be cooked. So at the bar we were served in rudest way ever, we were told they have no fish and there is one hour wait on food. We sat down and then circus started. In a place where are 22 tables works about 14 staff members at a time (this was who we counted). We got our food bit by bit with shouting out loud our table number. Food was edible, but nothing good for a price you pay. By the way these plates are still sitting on our table all the time we stayed there. So all staff is wearing jogging bottoms and some kind of black top. No one knows what they are doing. And staff member who we assumed was manager wore slippers 😂 So i don't even know how to describe the place more. If you would like to have a dinner for 50 euro and have a free circus performance, please visit this wonderfull restaurant 😂 and see all this beauty yourselfes. We suggest to go there if you are really really...
Read moreMy wife and I were trying to get a quick bite here before returning to the airport. We were told that they had no tables available. We said we'd wait. They seated two parties who arrived after us. Those parties didn't have reservations. They tried to skip a third party around us, but that group was gracious enough to point out that we had been waiting longer. Begrudgingly, they gave us a table in the back, next to the restrooms, and promptly forgot about us. No one was seated anywhere near us. There were many vacant tables. Please remember that we were told that they had no tables available. Eventually, we flagged down a waitress and placed an order. I was told that I'd get a glass for a soda. We never saw the waitress, again. I went and asked for a glass after our food was delivered by someone else. We had to speak with management in order to get our check. It was clear that they treated locals much better than they treated Americans. We were nice. We were polite. We were more patient than we should have been. And yet, they treated us quite poorly. I'm 100% convinced it was solely because we're Americans. The only positives were that the restaurant was clean and the food was better...
Read moreLangbest Restaurant (adjacent to the Courtyard Airport Marriott Reykjavik) offered a solidly American menu, with burgers, pizza, wings, and a full bar. At the conclusion of a ten-day expedition along the west coast of Greenland, expedition leader Quark Expeditions housed its passengers at the Courtyard Marriott near KEF. The expedition covered Greenland’s west coast from near Nuuk to near Ilulissat. We arrived from a chartered flight from Kangerlussuaq, right around dinner time. The place was pretty empty but it was filling up during the 30 minutes I was there. Ordered fries and a burger, both of which hit the spot. Service was very good, it was easy to understand what was being said and I’m pretty sure my server understood me without any difficulty. The food was hot and properly cooked, and filled me up nicely. Note: once the order is taken and the food is served, you won’t see the server bringing a bill to your table. Just let the cashier know what table you were at and they’ll take...
