Hi everyone!

This Bakery/Café happens to be located at the entrance into Reykjavik city...if you are coming from KEF international airport..easily accessible and parking just outside. Very nice clean sitting area with great view to relax and enjoy light meal or just a cup coffee (various types) or tea.

I happen to be one of the regulars at this bakery Café so I guess that's a sort of recommendation in itself ❤️ I try here to show you in a few uploaded photos what's available including all sorts of (non sweet) sandwiches and sweet cakes alike. Hot soups too

All imaginable sorts of sandwiches are available freshly prepared from the morning along the day. There's a "Meat Sandwich"...tasty and filling: I recommend that you ask for adding slices of fresh tomatoes ..seasoning the whole thing with pepper and little salt before entering the grill-oven 😋

Good things to know: When you buy a cup of coffee...no matter what type in Iceland you always have the chance of one FREE refill (but filter coffee only). This is the rule in Cafés and Bakery Cafés ... really around the country and has always been like that.

Then remember if you are a tourist/foreigner in Iceland: No need to buy bottled water. Icelanders drink proudly their tap water...100% natural clean resources/filtered naturally through different layers of earth itself coming from deep down sources.

Warm welcome and...

This place has terrible service. The staff look like ghosts they are probably treated so badly that they must feel dead inside. They had no interest in serving me and did not attend to me before i had waited for 15 minutes. I dont think they forgot because i took a number when i got there. They just didn't want to they just needed to have a seat and a cup of coffee for themselves. I am a paying customer but the staff is just as important. It is also worth mentioning that I was shook when I saw the prices. A cup of latte is insane and when you add a sandwich to that it cost me about as much as i make in an hour, just to eat for 15 minutes after...

if i could give the service a -10 i would. all of the workers have bad attitudes and forget to make me an item i ordered every time i go. they dont smile, dont greet you or even treat you with human decency. last time i went i had asked for a to go cup, she asked me if i wanted the small one and i said no id like the big one and she ROLLED HER EYES AT ME. actually insane, i know its annoying working in retail, ive been working in retail since i was 13 but i would NEVER roll my eyes at customers. food is great though its the only reason i keep going. get...

Great place for a tasty affordable sandwich. Our hotel didn't offer breakfast so we would come here daily to pick up a pastry for breakfast and sandwich for lunch. Everything tasted very fresh and was cheaper than the gas station sandwiches we saw! My favourite was the ham and cheese croissant with butter. My friends tried a variety of other ones and were always great. Highly recommend stopping here for a quick bite or to bring on the road before starting a Golden Circle or Snæfellsnes peninsula day trip.
