We were made to wait an uncomfortable amount of time to even get someone to talk to us. They had us fill out a slip if paper (I am sure that was for COVID tracking) but it had no English on it. We filled it out and this dark haired waiter came to the table to tell us that we filled it out wrong. That made us feel stupid! That same dark haired waiter came to the table to take the order. He was rude, abrupt, and obviously full of himself. The waiter that brought the food and drinks was excellent! Food was so-so and expensive for what we got I felt. I had the lobster bisque and it had 2 small pieces of lobster in the bisque. Our waiter that took our order must not have ordered our dessert because the table waiter was unaware of it. We were just really disappointed. Hope you don’t have the...

Went to this place versus the food trucks across the street because we wanted to enjoy a sit down experience. The venue of the hotel was nice. They had a bar. Strata was the easy winner. The place was clean and cozy. Service was friendly and the food was tasty. I decided on the dish of the day which was an Atlantic Char. I must say it was perfectly cooked. Flaky , tender and juicy. It was on a bed of vegetables and mashed potatoes. I didn’t care for the mashed potatoes but again the fish was great. We also had the vegan bao and the pork bao. Both good choices as well. We also enjoyed the mushroom bruschetta. I would highly recommend this appetizer. Overall, good food, drinks and service. The food trucks seemed highly rated. We decided to go there for...

The food was amazing. However no stomach at our table was prepared to face the horrors that were to come after consuming the mysterious seafood soup (the shrimpachino). Mere hours later, our entire group was scrambling and fighting for the toilet like a pack of angry wolves.

Odin himself would look down upon this digestional massacre and shutter. What was meant to be a memorable evening of stargazing and northern light-hunting quickly turned into a mad scramble to reach the porcelain throne on time. Though the experience fit the criteria for medical studies it was indeed a night that will haunt my memories forever. Thought many legends dot Iceland's lavish history, may we never forget the night the...

TLDR: Good vegan options, slower service, nice restaurant. Solid 4 stars! Service: wait staff were kind, but a tad sluggish. Luckily, we were not in a hurry, but note that. Atmosphere: cozy and bright hotel restaurant that was joyful and clean. Food: wife had the vegan burger and enjoyed the different flavors with it. It was a tasty burger that could have used a bit more sauce, but overall good! The fries were seasoned well and no real complaints. My "Wellington" is much less a wellington, but a sort of pot pie as us Americans would say. The inside was minced vs solid. It was quite good and again, no complaints, just should probably be advertised as a veggie pie or something.
