Review: A Disastrous Dining Experience – Avoid at All Costs

I don’t usually leave reviews, but my recent experience at [Restaurant Name] was so appalling that I felt compelled to warn others.

From the moment we stepped in, things felt off. The restaurant was noticeably warm and stuffy — turns out the air conditioning wasn’t working. Despite this, we decided to stay, hoping the food would at least make up for the discomfort. Big mistake.

We placed our order, and after a rather long wait, only half the food arrived. No explanation, no apology. When we politely asked about the rest of our order, the waiter curtly replied that the restaurant was closing and we wouldn’t be getting the rest. This was despite the fact that we were well within their stated operating hours when we arrived.

To make matters worse, the waiter’s attitude was shockingly rude. He spoke to us as though we were inconveniencing him just by being there. Any question we asked — even simple ones like “Can we get water?” — was met with hostility or outright dismissal.

We ended up leaving hungry, frustrated, and completely baffled by the lack of basic hospitality. We were still charged for the full order — no discounts, no apologies, nothing.

I’ve had bad restaurant experiences before, but this was on another level. Between the non-functioning AC, the incomplete meal, and the rude, unprofessional staff, I genuinely cannot recommend this place to anyone. There are far better options out there that actually respect their customers.

Worst of the service, rude employees no proper assistance on food and quality. Totally ruining the name for the actual Karim's in Delhi. Poor service, I wish I could do more than just complain. Highly unacceptable behaviour.

Hi Vikas, Would like to reply to you here to keep the transparency of the conversation. Please ask your staff to delve full information and not one side story.

1. There was no problem with Veg biryani.
2. Yes I ordered chicken tikka masala and found the color to be different and was too oily. I asked the manager first politely to see if this is how it is made. He sent a waiter I asked him can he ask the chef how and why this has been prepared like this.. the waiter started mocking ' yeh aisa hi banta hai'. Then he asked me to taste and them tell. I told him if I taste n dint like will you change, he stood there laughing without any answer. Hence I requested can this be changed with a red gravy, he acted smart n said only boil chicken pieces will come in red gravy. That is when I gave up., Paid for what I ate and left.

Vikas, I wouldn't have taken out so much time and pain to write this but I thought you or the world needs to know the way customers choices and requests are being treated @ your eatery.

And I am sorry please take it as a feedback notHing against the restaurant but I will never like to step back in there.
