AVS Hotels & Sweet Magic Restaurant — Restaurant in Andhra Pradesh

Just one person to handle check in, and that too an incompetent guy, took 15 mins to deal with another guest ahead of me and another 15 mins for ours. we had booked 3 rooms for 3 couples, my room bathrooms were not cleaned and the leftovers of previous occupier were found all over, walls were stained and no towels provided, when called to clean the bathroom, no one turned up for 20 mins, our other 2 rooms were infested with cockroaches, and they say they have come in while they left the windows and door open to clear cigarette smoke, by the way, this hotel has a unique distinction of having ONLY SMOKING ROOMS, the smoke stench was unbearable. when i personally went down to reception, they changed 2 rooms, and those 2 were NOT any better, in fact my daughter had to call and ask for another room around mid night as cockroaches started crawling out. The towels provided were torn at edges and the bed sheets looked unchanged for months probably. Now Restaurant, seemed quite presentable and since we were tired after having been out for 15 hours, we decided to partake dinner at the Hotel itself also we were told that AVS Sweet Magic is a local favorite as well. Here, every thing tasted similar even veg starters were tasting and smelling like non-veg dishes, and the best part was the soup, it was as thick as Dal Kichdi, when challenged, a grumpy looking guy came about and after argument agreed to write off the cost all the 3 portions of soup we had ordered, but ended up discounting just Rs 150/- probably the cost of one portion. All we looked forward the whole night was to day break, had a quick bath and still felt unclean as the floor across the entire room was sticky and felt like we were walking on glue, decided to skip breakfast but we had to avail it as our taxi driver was running late, nothing bad about breakfast, checked...

Totally disappointed with the hotel staff, fecilities and food. We went for veg buffet at 1:15pm, taken tokens of ₹150/- for all 4. Place was dark and no suppliers available for cleaning and seat allocation. When you give the token to the lady there, she has given plate, very embarrassing to see the lady was not at all professional and cleaned. Worst part is food is not at good and not even filled timely. There is no great food, items are coriander rice, dal, loose curry, fry( unfortunately we did not see that until the end, 30 minutes), sambar, rasam, fryums, couple of pickles; curd cup and sweet controlled by that lady. By the way no glasses there, waited for 10 mins. On top of it, ACs are not working and very humidity. We couldn't spend 30 minutes there, most of the time we were waiting for them to fill rice and other stuff. We could only eat Sambar and curd. Waste of time and money. I'll never visit there again. We complained to management there. They didn't bother anything and that seems to be normal there. Most of the people there seems to be first timers, came there unknowingly just like us and they are screaming and bashing to staff. Please avoid. Only advantage is we got parking for our car and they didn't charge...
