I recently visited Bismillah - House of Biryanis & Kebabs - Restaurant and had a fantastic dining experience. The ambiance is very good, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes it an excellent place to enjoy a meal. The restaurant is well-maintained, clean, and organized, which adds to the overall positive impression.
We tried the Special Chicken Biryani and Chicken Dum Biryani, and both dishes were delightful. The Special Chicken Biryani was flavorful, with tender pieces of chicken and aromatic rice. The spices were perfectly balanced, creating a rich and satisfying dish that was enjoyable from the first bite to the last.
The Chicken Dum Biryani was equally impressive. The biryani had a fragrant aroma, and the chicken was succulent and well-marinated. The rice was cooked to perfection, and the blend of spices gave it a deep and robust flavor that truly stood out.
To accompany our meal, we had a Virgin Mojito, which was refreshing and complemented the rich flavors of the biryanis perfectly. The drink was well-prepared, with the right amount of mint and lime, making it a perfect palate cleanser.
The service at Bismillah - House of Biryanis & Kebabs was prompt and courteous, adding to the overall positive experience. The staff were attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.
In summary, Bismillah - House of Biryanis & Kebabs offers a very good ambiance, good maintenance, and delicious food. The Special Chicken Biryani and Chicken Dum Biryani were both outstanding, and the Virgin Mojito was a refreshing addition. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking to enjoy flavorful biryanis and kebabs in a pleasant setting. I will definitely...
Read moreMy coworker is getting married so I traveled to Guntur for the wedding. I live in San Francisco and while we have a big Indian population and quite a lot of Indian restaurants I was looking forward to trying some authentic Indian food. One the first night we went here, I am a non vegetarian. We ordered a lot of dishes for 2 of us. 9 to be precise. That’s where we hit our first hurdle - the waiter refused to accept the full order on the premises that it’s too much for us. That was unpleasant interaction for 10 minutes. Until I raised my voice and asked to speak with the owner. On the subject of food - delicious! Our favorite was Butter Chicken- both sweetened and spiced up with a whole bunch of aromatics. We tried mutton, chilly chicken, deep fried chicken, soups, butter naan, afgahan kebab. I really enjoyed our dinner here. At the end we paid about 3500 rupees.
Wedding was held nearby just a few days after our initial dinner, and because it’s a wedding it was all vegetarian. So we took a quick tuktuk ride here and again ordered butter chicken, chicken masala and something else.
To make ordering easy, I wrote down on my phone our order, but it took them a few attempts to transfer it to their ordering system. They seem disorganized and aloof.
I also don’t like when they serve the food to my plate. I asked them to stop, as they absolutely do not know how much I want to eat. But again they kept doing it. Must be a custom in this region.
Overall, I think this restaurant kitchen is doing amazing job at preparing very well balanced dishes, service...
Read moreWe ordered:
Crunchie Chicken (twice)
Mutton Dum Biryani
Wings Biryani
The Crunchie Chicken was exceptionally crispy and had the perfect crunch — a great choice for a starter! It was fresh, well-seasoned, and everyone at the table enjoyed it. The biryanis were also a highlight of the meal. Both the Mutton Dum Biryani and Wings Biryani reminded us of the authentic Muslim wedding-style biryani — aromatic, flavorful, and cooked to perfection.
However, based on our overall experience, we would suggest being a bit cautious with fish-related starters. While they weren’t bad, they felt a bit underwhelming compared to the rest of the meal. The taste was just okay — not something we would reorder.
The service was prompt, and the ambiance was comfortable for a casual dinner. The final bill came to ₹1973, which we found reasonable for the quality and quantity served.
Definitely worth visiting again, especially for biryani lovers and fried...
