Ravi Punugu Bajji Stall — Restaurant in Andhra Pradesh

This shop sells punugulu and bhajjis. Punugulu is a famous Street food of Vijayawada.

Ordered only pungulu here which is served with chutneys and a podi . I did not like the taste of punugulu here. There was huge crowd waiting for punugulu in this shop and maybe because to cater to crowds they did not take care of quality of punugulu or maybe it was not my day . Rates are decent here.

The shop is very small and one can find people buying food from here and eating on roads.

This stall is very famous for evening snack items like Punugulu, Mirchi bajji and few other items and the punugulu with chutney and powder are excellent in taste and they are real specialists in making it. People throng to this place in the evening and some will have there itself while some are taking out to homes, offices etc. People of Vijayawada love to take this snack at his stall. I came especially for these punugulu after reading the reviews and they weren’t the traditional Andhra punugulu. The reviews I read were all false and I was disappointed after eating as my wife was not happy with the taste of the punugulu. Traditional punugulu are never wholly made out of idli or dosa batter and I felt like their recipe was not made out of maida. The merapakaya bajji was tasty and spicy but not served hot. Overall not so good...
