Saffron — Restaurant in Andhra Pradesh

Reduced from 4 star to 3 star review.

My friend had vomit after eating food there. Thought it was normal and not related to restaurant. But again some of us went and again most of us fell sick after eating food there.

Apart from above my normal review is :

Place is very decent....you have two dining areas. One for people who eat mandi and other is for non mandi foodies. Prices are bit towards north. Also the waiters are mostly hindi speaking..only manager and supervisor are telugu speaking. But this does not making their serving skills any less. Staff are nice and helpful. Taste is good.

Tried Tomato soup Lemon and corriender soup Panner manchurian Mushroom cilli pepper Cashew biryani Veg. Tawa biryani Cool drinks

The only minus us they don't have pet cool drink bottle. They have only tin cans...don't order coke its machine filled not tin.

Overall bit pricey...but worth a try. Will try and update...

Recently visited this place. They have completely renovated the place. Now the interior looks fresh and good. Nice space to park car. New division for Mandi biryani is also under construction. They said it will be open by December 2021. Coming to food, we ordered Dragon chicken - spicy and tasty. Chicken was fresh and the gravy they made was perfect. Next we took chicken tikka masala and pulkas. CTM was also authentic in taste. Next we ordered Maharaja Biryani. Biryani rice was flavour full with ghee aroma was highlighting. Few wings and sufficient boneless fried chicken pieces were there. Overall good experience. Service was polite and friendly. One star less as they won't provide mint chutney / garlic sauce / mayonnaise along with chicken dry starters. Only tomato sauce was available. No fresh juices available only carbonated soft drinks available. Sure can visit if u are close to...

If You wish to get surprised then definitely you should go to this restaurant. A perfect place which would surprise you. The item you ordered will not be the same when you get it on your plate. Ambiance wise they follow rules like save energy and off the lights but when they give bill they on the lights just to make us surprise. For any biryani you order they just throw a plain briyani rice on your table and serve curries in a plate( which is another surprise). And the stafff, I can't write more about them🙏🙏 BTW thanks to the team of saffron for providing such a worst kind of food. I wish to give u zero rating but unfortunately...
