New Citi Dhaba — Restaurant in Assam

When it's Sunday, and you have a craving for North Indian, there are so many options and places to pick from. Among the list of favorites, New Citi Dhaba of Bhangagarh is one of my go-to places. . . So we ordered Paneer Tikka Masala -a mildly spicy Indian cottage cheese dish and Paneer Makhani- a sweet Indian cottage cheese dish with makhani. The first one is a good dish. Expected it to hit the spicy scales but it had more of a rich mixtures of different spices in their dish, rather than hotness. A great dish though. . The second one, although sweet, is rather quite the interesting one. The sweetness is rather delightful and the richness is just at the perfect ratio, which does not let you get tired of the dish and makes you crave for more. This was my favorite out of the both. We even experimented both these paneer dishes with tandoori roti and butter naan. The butter naan was a clear winner, adding a bonus hit in the flavor profile. . Ambience is great. A good restaurant with tasty foods...... prices are a bit high than it actually must be but as it is inclusive of taxes so we don't have any complain regarding the price..... Indian cuisine, chinese cuisine available..... tandoor items are also available...... clean and neat..... service is also good.. good catering services..... air conditioned restaurant.. overall rating 9/10... serves hot food.. but u have to wait for at least half an hour if u have come for lunch or dinner... otherwise for fast food.. it won't take much time..... situated it the heart of guwahati so quite popular... but the only thing I hated is no parking place for vehicles... otherwise it is a good...

No doubt food was very good we ordered mutton kosha but when we ordered the same kosha dish again they have given other dish we knew it because the colour looks different when we ask the waiter he says it was same that we ordered at first , but when we taste it we are for sure knew that it was different dish as the taste was also not same by then we didn’t like to continue eating so we decided to inform them to pack the items so when we ask to pack it to them , they packed it awfully by using ordinary Alumunium foil loose packed instead of using good and tight containers generally used by good restaurants which results in spillage while...
