Hotel Rashmi — Hotel in Assam

Located at the heart of the town, yet just away from the high-road hustle and bustle, we visited this establishment and stayed for 3 days... Pros: All staffs are courteous and helpful, rooms are clean and maintained - we had an ac issue that was promptly taken care of, and biggest positive, for us, was food from its in-house restaurant, Mejenga... Food prices in menu might look a bit high, but the portion and taste, aka quantity and quality justifies the same. Room rent, for us 1 double and 1 single room, were okay. Cons: the only cribbing I can do about this is the lack of a lift/elevator - as this is a G+4 building, and taking stairs for 3rd and 4th floor rooms (we got one in 3rd floor, not sure if 4th floor ones are used or not) is quite a task, especially if you have any aged person in your group. Overall, this was a nice experience and if I visit Guwahati again, I will try to stay at Hotel...

The hotel is near Taj Mahal, don't get mislead by this, the hotel is run by crooks, we paid for 4 rooms on hourly basis and booking was done 1 month in advance via goibibo, on the day of arrival at 7 am they hotel said they have only 1 rooms rest of the rooms are still occupied, and we had to wait, and when asked about the booking and amount paid they have nothing in reply and asked us to go and complain in goibibo, the fact was inspite of our booking in goibibo they went and booked the rooms for other guests to make extra money.

I don't recommend this hotel to anyone, it's totally an unprofessional place by totally unprofessional people and totally an unhygienic place, toilets are very dirty bed sheets and towels are very dirty, infact there are many hotels near which are very clean...

The Place is very Cozy..For Family,friends all can stay here. The rooms as per the price are perfect,all rooms are AC with Fan. In this Hotel this time my first experienced and I must say the hotel staff,and all other person are very much friendly..There is a family hotel cum resturant down there..I check in at morning so I prefer roti and sabji the roti is perfect and the sabji is little bit spicy but ok ok type..
