Souk - the mandi place (Hatigaon) — Restaurant in Assam

Absolutely the worst iftar experience ever I had been fasting the whole day during Ramzan….hoping for a delicious 🥘 meal but this place was a total disaster….The thali was ₹745…I took a water bottle for ₹10…and after adding ₹40+ in Tax my total bill was ₹796 completely wasted money

The so-called “Mandi”was nothing but plain rice mixed with turmeric zero flavor..no aroma, nothing For a dish that shouldn’t cost more than ₹150 at most…this was a complete rip-off…And if you judge it by quality…it’s not even worth ₹50…The juice? Just tasteless colored water…. Even after fasting all day…I couldn’t enjoy a single bite….

I don’t mind paying high prices 5-star hotels and premium restaurants charge thousands for a single dish…and people happily pay because they get quality and taste….But here? They charge a premium price for food that isn’t even worth street food standards

The only okay thing was the interior…but the place is small and feels cramped…. Service was slow…and the staff didn’t seem to care….Trust me…this is my honest review….If they continue providing such horrible food and service…this restaurant won’t last long it’ll shut down soon…..

If you’re looking for a good iftar…DON’T come here Go to Mughal Garden instead they actually...

It's a new restaurant opened in hatigaon-bhetapara road, beside the Hatigaon Police Station. It's an Indo-Arabic restaurant famous for the middle east dishes. I've tried the hyderabadi chicken, maharaja chicken, chicken seekh kabab & tandoori roti. The dishes were really really amazing. I agree that the prices are a bit on the higher side but I assure you that you won't regret after eating. The quantity is satisfactory. The ambience is awesome and the seating arrangement is like the Arabian style.

Not just this, they also serve some Italian food like pasta and all and other Chinese items (in case you don't like indian dishes).

Best place to eat authentic Chicken/Mutton Mandi in Guwahati. Excellent place to have a great time with friends and family....!!!
