We went to 81 casual dine on a Sunday for lunch. There is a parking lot right next to the restaurant where roughly 10 cars can be parked easily. So parking should not be a problem. The restaurant is located on a ground floor and is accessible by wheelchair as well. As soon as we entered I liked the ambience with mild lighting and walls that were decorated with beautiful paintings and arts. It is perfect for a casual outing with family or friends with a pleasant atmosphere in the restaurant. There was light music in the background which matched the setup nicely. The menu consists of a good mix of North Indian, chinese and continental dishes which should suit everyone's taste. We had broccoli soup and cocktails to begin with. The soup was hot and tasty and the flavor of broccoli was excellent. We ordered corn kernels and 81 Casual dine special chicken for starters. The chicken was cooked well and the masala was very tasty. We tried butter chicken and roti for main course. The roti were soft and fluffy and were perfectly cooked. The butter chicken succulent and tasted really good. We felt the quantity of starters was a little less than we expected but the gravy was sufficient. We also tried their veg Palau. The veg Pulav was cooked well and had a very rich taste and aroma. The staff were very friendly and polite. Absolutely unacceptable experience – ruined my daughter's birthday

We visited this restaurant today to celebrate my 8-year-old daughter’s birthday. Being vegetarians, we specifically ordered paneer dishes, but to our absolute shock and horror, they served us chicken instead.

Our daughter unknowingly ate a few bites before we realized the mistake. She was deeply disturbed and terrified — as are we. This is not just a dietary preference, it’s a matter of our belief and values, and this mistake is completely unforgivable.

To make matters worse, the manager was unapologetic and showed no concern for what had happened. Instead of offering any support, he asked us to take our remaining ordered food as a takeaway when we decided to leave the restaurant immediately.

This incident has left us shaken and has ruined what was supposed to be a happy, memorable day for our daughter. Serving non-vegetarian food to vegetarians, especially a child, is not just negligence—it’s complete disregard for basic respect and responsibility.

We will never be returning and urge the management to seriously reflect on how they handle food, service, and customer care. This was beyond disappointing — it was deeply...
