Adyar Ananda Bhavan - A2B — Restaurant in Bengaluru

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding a highly disappointing and unprofessional experience I had at your Batrahalli outlet on 12th May 2024.

I purchased 15 pieces of Rasmalai on that day. Initially, I was informed by your staff that the required quantity was not available. Later, they provided me with 15 pieces after retrieving them from one of the refrigerators, assuring me that the stock had arrived that morning. Unfortunately, all 15 pieces were completely spoiled by the very next day.

Out of these, I managed to bring 8 pieces back to the store, as the remaining were either served to guests (who were understandably upset) or discarded once we discovered they were spoiled.

Upon returning to the outlet, I was shocked by the response I received from the AGM. Not only did he refuse to refund or compensate me for the spoiled items, but he also responded rudely, stating:

“Don’t ever come to A2B. We will not lose any business if you stop coming.”

This kind of reckless attitude, particularly from a senior manager, is completely unacceptable and reflects poorly on a brand as large and reputed as A2B. As a regular customer, I felt deeply disrespected...

Best option for veg snacks, food and sweets. Onion rava dosa my favourite, though it tasted better in the past.. yet one of the best. Filter coffee is consistent and must try after your meal or snacks. They got parking at basement and separate parking space across the adjacent street. It's a self service restaurant and need to choose and pay before savouring food. Mostly crowded on peak hours, but worth it. They do have service floor on first floor and cones with a cost. Food options range from south to north, sweets to chaats on separate counter. Pongal vada, masala dosa and idly varieties are staple breakfast and dinner. Lunch with variety rice and multiple thali option. Extra option of varieties available on special thali. Strongly suggest to have additional rice if you are in hunger. Though this restaurant located on service road and clearly visible day and night. Access to restaurant is occasionally difficult due to one way on service road, though vehicle do commute on opposite direction. This restaurant open much early in the morning and late well beyond 10 pm, so this restaurant is reliable place for food beyond...

The food at this particular A2B location was very average, and the service was subpar. We had to ask for everything twice before it was provided to us, and the staff seemed unprofessional. The ambiance was also quite mediocre. I'm a regular to A2B outlet but I was disappointed with my first visit to this specific outlet. In contrast to the A2B near Doddakalsandra, this one did not meet my expectations. The experience was not worth the price.

I would recommend opting for some darshinis if you are looking for good food, and if you want to spend time talking and eating, it's better to choose another restaurant nearby. Overall, I don't think this A2B location is worth visiting. The contrast between this outlet and the one near Doddakalsandra was significant, and it left me feeling let down.

In conclusion, I would advise others to consider alternative dining options in the area. The combination of average food, subpar service, unprofessional staff, and mediocre ambiance makes this A2B location a less than...
