Ginger Lake View — Restaurant in Bengaluru

Recently visited this restaurant, the restaurant is located on the uttarahalli- kengeri road after the BGS global city . There use to be an restaurant named sankranti there before now it's been replaced by this restaurant .

Coming to the food we ordered - 1.egg coriander - it was pretty tasty , there was a hint of coriander along with loads of spice to make it just enough to get that perfect taste . The quantity also was pretty sufficient . 2.mushroom Manchurian - it was something really different and really tasty , the Manchurian was crispy ! A rare thing now a days ! It was spicy and had the exact taste of a Manchurian! . Quantity is good enough for two average people . 3.chicken schezwan fried rice - it wasn't exactly your authentic schezwan rice but the taste was more akin to the bar cum restaurant style of fried rice with loads of spice and generous amount of chicken in it . It was good in it's own way ! . The spicyness and flavourful chicken pieces made it tasty . Quantity is more than enough for one person Veg biryani - again it wasn't an authentic veg biryani but more of bar cum restaurant styled but still it was spicy and pretty tasty , it had generous dose of vegetables and good flavour ! . Quantity is more than enough for one person .

Overall I really liked the food ! Their taste their presentation and hygiene won me over ! The quantity of the food is also very generous . The service is pretty fast and the Waiters are very responsive . The place is pretty big and airy and has decent ambience . The prices are pretty standard restaurant rates which is actually quite less for the quality and quantity of food he serves .

History : Before this restaurant.... There was Sankranthi dabba.....

Now this wonderful family bar and restaurant named Ginger lake view opened newly.... Here's the review.....

Parking : yes little spacious for 10-15cars infront of the restaurant

Service:4/5 (need to wait for 10-15min for the food to be on your table)

Overall rating - 9/10 I loved it..... 🤩 Bit expensive but affordable... 🤩 "Taste is everything"

Good luck Ginger lake view guys... Suggestion to restaurant chefs : in mutton biryani (mutton pieces should be cooked still more it was bit raw ) other than that......

Visited this restaurant after 5 years for dinner with colleagues.

Seating Arrangement: The restaurant offers several options including a common dining area, private rooms for groups, and family rooms. A highlight is the open-air seating area on the top floor, which provides a pleasant ambiance. However, it's not recommended for elderly guests due to the access via a steel staircase. The pathway from the entrance to the various dining areas is nicely designed and gives a fresh, welcoming feel.

Food & Beverages: The restaurant serves both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, along with alcoholic beverages.

Tandoori Chicken was well-cooked and flavorful — definitely up to the mark.

French Fries were average in taste and texture.

Peanut Masala had an imbalance — too much onion and tomato, and not enough peanuts. The taste was below expectations.

Chicken Nati-Style Biryani was average and could have had more authentic flavor.

Overall Experience: A good and average experience overall. This place is ideal for group dining and hanging out with friends. It’s neat and clean, and we also noticed some families dining here, indicating it caters to different types of customers.
