KFC — Restaurant in Bengaluru

Located at one of the important layout in Bangalore, the KFC in HSR Layout is the only KFC outlet in atleast 6 KM radius. As a person who stays near Kudlu Gate this one is the closest outlet I can find to sate my appetite. I visit this outlet quite often and my favorite day to visit is Wednesday as I can avail Wednesday offer. This outlet is located right opposite to HSR BDA complex and hence serve as one convenient place to sit and enjoy some snacks while we wait for our bus.

The people at the counters are comparatively fast in taking the order and serving it. This outlet has two level seating and if you are not in hurry/you are not waiting for bus then I recommend you to take the first floor seating near to the window as it over looks the BDA complex and 14th main road. The outlet is neat and clean except for the restrooms. One time during my visit they were doing some maintenance work and it was a mess inside the restroom and still, even after completing, the level of cleanliness is not satisfactory.

There is underground parking available for bikes and if you are lucky enough you will get to park your car right in front of the outlet. They won't allow underground parking for cars even though they have got enough room for couple of cars. If you park in the road side be ready to get it towed away by the police. I recommend you to park inside the BDA complex across the road and have food. Best deal is the 5 in 1 Zinger Box. I once tried their Smoky Box and it was horrible. Liked the food as always. Staff can be a bit more helpful, but the girl taking our order was more than helpful. Had to walk twice up n down to seating at the first floor to carry food. Very spacious dining area. Wash room can improve a lot. Acceptable ambience in HSR layout. Front stairs to the entrance is too steep. Not very safe for aged and little kids especially when it rains. Parking area is very small and gets full plus a no parking sign board just outside on the road. So best place to park is inside BDA complex just opposite. The cashier charged Rs. 6 for the carry bag. But the carry bag had KFC printed on it. Why should KFC charge customers to Market their brand?? This cost should be absorbed by KFC Marketing Dept. Can't blame the local employee for Management mistakes. Hope KFC team takes this seriously!!! Otherwise, didn't see much of plastic. Everything is paper now including the straws except the trays. Guess CSR of KFC has a mandate to eliminate plastic. In a competitive environment where today's customs has Soo many choices, besides good food, the management should emphasise on great customer service, ambiance and staff...

Warning: A vegetarian reviewing KFC here! I am a vegetarian and my wife eats non-veg. Together we avoid KFC but came here for a change. This review of mine is about vegetarian products only.

Fries- Cold and hard, I threw half the fries. Even many fries are burnt. I have had better fries from local stores ordering online.

Veg Zinger- One of the worst veg burger one can have. This is the worst burger I had in my life. Veg patty was simply kept between the buns with zero veggies. Sour sauce was pour at one place of the burger. The burger spoiled my mood of eating.

Pepsi- It was not served cold. Pepsi is a "cold drink", the moment you serve at regular you are spoiling the fun of it.

Water bottle- ₹50 for 1 litre. Cost is high plus water is served at normal temperature.

Service quality: Its average, nothing to praise nothing to complain.

PS. I wife ordered rice combo. As per her rice is average but she is happy with the chicken pieces. She also said menu is getting updated especially in drinks section.
