Nandhana Palace - Andhra Style Restaurant - KR Puram — Restaurant in Bengaluru

This place is a crapy place in terms of food quality, ambience, food pricing, servicing. Can you think of any other service provided by a restaurant.. as it fails in every aspect. I'll jot down my experience below.

We went in a 4 people group to enjoy andhra cuisine at dinner time.

Food taste was ok but it felt like they were serving us old food. We wanted to order 2 starter items, i only remember 1 bamboo chicken, both the items were not available, so eventually we ordered 4 thalis and 2 starters (fish and chicken), we felt it was stale. In thali papad was all soggy, rice, sambar and other items were all cold only the starters items felt like it was microwaved for us (may have gotten out of refrigerator and microwaved). Looked very shady place, no proper lighting and no it was not at all feeling like a cozy place where lights are usually dim. Pricing was way too much for any items from their menu. Not worth it at all. Went around 8:15 pm but still they served us very late, there were hardly any guests when we placed our order. Our thali food got finished but nobody was around to check.

Total waste of time, food and money. I have been to other outlets in Indiranagar, Domlur and nearby places these outlets are way better than this. This outlet is not even close and should be removed from Nandhana Andhra...

I visited this branch on 9 april 2024 which happened to be ugadi.When we ordered 2 veg meals the restaurent people refused to give us the order and saying as it is ugadi we only serve ugadi special meals which cost around 350 rupees which consists of same items as normal veg meal after lot of request and argument also restaurent people said we will not serve normal veg meal on ugadi day and you have to buy only uadi special meals orelse you can leave.we left the restaurent after sitting foe eating.

Very unruly 3rd class behavior from such a famous well known brand of restaurent.Ill surely put this on consumer forum.

If they cannot serve what we order from menu why are these people running a restaurent.Better u can put a postee saying we will not serve anything from menu on ugadiil day you should only eat ugadi special meal or dont come inside.

And when checking in zomato swiggy the veg meal option is available for order. And they swear that any branch of nandhana palace will not serve you veg meal today.

I was regular custome of NPR hotels bt never entering their place...

My experience with Nandhana palace and management was an absolute delight, Being a regular customer of this branch, I ordered my regular order through @zomato, But half of food that reached me was already eaten, On confronting the Zomato delivery person, he said only this many packets were handed, I called Nandhana palace customer care number, I got through and spoke to someone who said that i will be contacted by the branch manager, after almost 10 min I did recieve a call from Mr. Girish, He was humble and heard to the entire story, after discussing I realised that zomato has been doing this to their customers and they are loosing customers due to the activities of hiding/eating away half of the food. I will definitely raise it up with zomato but want to thank Mr. Girish on sending the food which i should have got, which was delivered by his staff, not to mention its a 12 km up and down.
