I have been a regular customer of this hotel for many years, but I am very disappointed with the way the staff treats customers. The staff members speak rudely, and unfortunately, their manager supports such behavior instead of addressing it.

During my recent visit, the billing counter staff did not even know the appropriate quantity of sambar required for the idlis purchased. When I raised the concern, he casually mentioned that he had billed only for one small box of sambar, as I had requested “one box” (without being aware of the box size). When I pointed out that the quantity was insufficient, he was least bothered and simply said I would need to pay an extra ₹7 for another box. He neither cared to check whether the quantity was sufficient for the items purchased nor explained the container sizes beforehand. Instead, he kept arguing rather than resolving the issue.

When I escalated to the manager, I expected a fair response. However, even he could not provide a proper explanation and simply asked me to “leave it.” This clearly reflects a lack of concern for customer satisfaction.

It is disappointing to see that the focus here is more on charging extra rather than ensuring customers are satisfied. I strongly believe the staff needs proper training on customer service and communication so they can handle queries politely and professionally, instead of arguing with customers.

Horrible experience this afternoon. It's Sunday and obviously everyone wants to relax when they go out for lunch with family but in my case it happened the other way around. Pathetic service, no one to take the order, no one to serve the food even when it's ready. We had to serve ourselves despite getting the orders late. The staff just disappeared from the place without even getting the food we ordered, he in fact was very rude when asked about the order. I had to complain to the Manager but no use as he was a new person who joined recently. When we got the orders, it was just kept on the table without being served, not even the plates or the food. We had to do it ourselves at the end. I certainly wish that this changes and no one gets to experience what I went through. I'm never going to visit this place again. I was in this situation before & experienced almost the same in Paakashala @ Jayanagar 8th block as well maybe 2 or 3 weeks back. Maybe the owners have just got their shares and now the new management is just making money rather than customer service. Recently we thought of ordering from outside as it was long time since we had outside food due to the prevailing situation. We ordered from Paakashala (Rebranded) Chandra Layout branch because we knew there would be no compromise on taste and also on hygiene.

We ordered two starters, Babycorn Manchurian and Paneer Peshawari Tikka. Both were distinct in taste and it was tender & soft. Usually restaurants don't care much about the tenderness of Babycorn, but here every single one was tender and soft; even for Paneer, well marinated and grilled evenly.

We also ordered two curries- Mushroom Masala, Paneer baby Corn masala and Regular Rotis to have with it. We loved the Paneer Babycorn masala than mushrooms.

Veg Handi Biryani, is one of our favorites from this place. Lots of masala and flavor in one dish is absolutely stunning. The quantity is apt for two people and is served with raita.
