Edit 1 11/5/24 : I purchased Baby Corn as part of a parcel and had a bad experience. It was not boiled and the baby corn was such a big piece that it was not cooked properly.
Edit 11/09/25 Paakashala in Vidyaranyapura is a well-liked vegetarian restaurant offering both South Indian and North Indian dishes. The food is tasty and consistent, with dosas, thalis, and sweets being especially popular. The ambience is neat and family-friendly, making it a good choice for casual outings or small gatherings. Service is generally quick and polite, though it may get slower during rush hours. One drawback is the lack of parking space, which can be inconvenient for visitors. Still, for quality food at reasonable prices, Paakashala remains a dependable spot and continues to attract a steady crowd from the...
Read moreFirst of all they don't respect customers. Until we ask they don't give water glasses, spoons. In our table there were no glasses and spoons. In meals, they have two types. South Indian and North Indian. Both for diabetic patients who should eat limit food otherwise their sugar levels in the blood increases. No unlimited meals. Generally we use to go to restaurants for sumptuous food. But here no unlimited food. Rs.160 not worth for saadaa seeda meal. Lunch plate not covered with banana leaf. So, we feel banana leaf food is hygiene and authentic. If diabetes patients who should not eat more than a cup of rice and want to pay more than worth can visit here. But if we want have "sumptuous food" (samptruttikara bhojana) at weekends, Sundays and holidays one should visit other restaurants there we can get Pappu, fry for rice, kuura, majjiga pulusu, pappula powder for rice, ghee, gongura and mango ooragaya, instant pickle along with regular sambar, rasam and kolambu. Restaurant means, it should satisfy our stomach, if we come out with half filled stomach it should not be called as restaurant. If we order veg palav, noodles or some other and stomach not filled means ok. Because that is limited package food but if we order lunch also and we come out with half filled stomach means, how it is said to be restaurant, it is only profit making business. As reiterated above, this restaurant only for diabetic patients who should not have more than a...

And also the restaurant is almost full now and with more satisfied customers... I visited this restaurant today again (visited them last week too) with family to see how much of difference has the feedback done to this place and if they maintain consistency or was it just one of the good days to the restaurant but no these people have really improved....
First thing I noticed was the menu is modified..added some good dishes and items to the menu...but unfortunately you won't get sandwich here at any time though it's in the menu...my son always gets disappointed when they say no sandwitch (tried it during dinner and lunch) but the waiter said we can try morning or early evening (which no one will cause who will have sandwich for breakfast and early evening people don't bother to come out for restaurants)
I'm not sure the chef has been changed or been given a serious warning and that has made wonders to the food...very tasty and quality food... Keep this quality and taste and I'm sure you guys will see a lot of customers... With almost no proper veg restaurant in the area is an advantage which you guys have to capitalise... All the best hope to get the same quality food next...
