TRIPLE EIGHT Rooftop Bar & Kitchen — Restaurant in Bengaluru

Went here for dinner on a weekend night, had booked the table through Zomato but they did not oblige it saying weekends they don’t take reservations and blamed Zomato for it. Took a very long time to get a table, no one at the entrance to talk to customers, you have to run behind asking if we can get a table. Would have given a 4 if not for this, as the food was good.

The rooftop ambience is good, there is a big screen for projecting live sports , but it’s location is not good, most of the people can’t see.

Coming to food we got paneer chilly, crispy corn and veg sheek kebab. Paneer chilly was very good, crispy corn was pretty good too, veg sheek kebab was ok.

It was our friend’s bday so we wanted a cake, they dint have any cake but they suggested to try gajar halwa, we said sure get that. We were pleasantly surprised when we saw what we got, it was four plates of gajar halwa shaped like a mountain in a big plate. The quantity seemed like to much to eat, but once we tasted it, everyone started gorging on it and finished in just two minutes flat. It was amazing.

We then got veg biriyani and curd rice, both were very good.

Overall food was good, service needs improvement, needs to be more organized!

Public Rooftop Pub situated in Bannerghatta Road, Bilekahalli situated on the 4th Floor. It gave a very bleak feeling in the beginning as it didn't look much pleasing as a pub, but then once arrived at the floor it kinda looked a bit more of a restaurant. It provides you an option between indoor and outdoor seating with not many seating options to choose from. But then kinda liked the place as we had taken a outdoor seating. Staff were friendly and really accommodating as they took our orders and the service was very good. Tried their Chicken Tikka as it was a recommended dish, but got to say it wasn't worth the hype of a recommended dish. But then tried their wings which was actually a lot more juicer and loved the flavors and spices in it which made it a better option than the tikka. The hookah section didn't have much varieties to choose from than the regulars. The outdoor seating could have been a bit more lit with some more lighting as it was really dark in certain areas. Could improve on that, but overall it's a good place to unwind and get some beers along with...

The most pathetic service ever.

We made a reservation for 9pm last night through Zomato by paying Rs. 50/- and at the time of the booking, from 8pm to 10pm there were quite a few tables available, as per Zomato.

However, upon reaching the place, the restaurant was crowded and people waiting too, to get their seats. When i asked the staff members, they kept ignoring or telling me they would check, but would not come back. Then, finally one of the managers came to us and asked us to take a table where the food was still on the table, but seemed like the people had left. Although, i noticed a backpack beside the table. I even informed about the backpack.

We took the table anyway, as per the manager’s instructions, and then 2 mins later, a waiter comes up to us and says that there are people who are sitting here still. We immediately left the place. Because it had been 45 mins of waiting, though i made a paid reservation.
