Kalpavruksha Restaurant is situated in a posh area in Bengaluru's Bilekahalli area. It is right opposite to the Ranka Colony and opposite to the Rainbow Children Hospital. It serves good South and North Indian dishes. You can also visit this place to have tea or coffee. Packing facility is also available here and you can get your food packed, however they charge a very good packing fee. Also in case you want to have your food delivered to your home, the order value is Rs 200 and above and your residence is within 2 kilometres from the restaurant then you can get your food delivered free of cost.
I especially enjoy the North Indian snack items here like bhelpuri, jhalpuri, samosa and a kachori chats, Tea, and Gol gappe. They are prepared well and are definitely tasty. You can definitely try these items here. The Chinese dishes are not that great and I did not like the noodles that I got from this place. The North Indian main course gravies like Panner butter masala, Paneer kadhai were OK Ok types and you should not expect much from this restaurant if you have the taste and idea of good gravies like this already.
This place also serves thalis and you can also enjoy them. Please see that this place also SERVES JAIN FOOD. So if you looking to have these then you can definitely visit this place. This place has less competition and only one more shop like this called Bhawani Sweets is available. So if you are looking to have some food and at a fast pace and time delivery then you can definitely visit here.
Moreover I will definitely recommend this place for having snack and tea or coffee.

Read moreToday evening I visited Kalpavruksha Veg Restaurant, Ranka Colony with my wife, 3-year-old child, and nanny. We ordered food worth ₹350. My child asked for some boondi, so I went to one of the staff (person in the attached photo) and politely asked for just a small handful in a cup. His response shocked me — he bluntly said, “Don’t ask anything for free, we cannot give you anything for free.”
I couldn’t believe the arrogance in that reply. I explained it was just for my child, but he repeated himself, saying it doesn’t matter who wants it. The cashier (said his name was Anil) claimed there was no boondi in the restaurant. When I asked for the manager, he rudely said there is no manager here.
And the irony? Later I ordered a curd vada, and guess what — it came with a cup of boondi! So clearly, it was available. I paid for it anyway, but the attitude of the staff left such a bad taste that no food could cover it up.
It’s not about the boondi — it’s about basic courtesy and respect towards customers, which is completely missing here. This was my last visit to this place. I’ve already told my friends in Ranka Colony, and many of them said they too faced similar rude behavior from the staff here. Clearly, this is not an isolated incident.
I honestly don’t know if anyone responsible at this restaurant even bothers to read reviews, but if they do — please understand, your staff’s attitude is driving customers away faster than bad...
Read moreI recently visited this restaurant, and I must say it was an excellent dining experience! They specialize in vegetarian cuisine, offering a delightful mix of South Indian and some North Indian dishes. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the welcoming ambiance, as well as the prompt and courteous service.
I ordered the Roti Curry dish, and it was absolutely delicious. The roti was perfectly soft and fresh, complementing the flavorful and well-spiced curry. The balance of spices was just right, making every bite enjoyable.
Apart from my order, I noticed that the South Indian dishes were quite popular among other diners, and they looked just as appetizing. The aroma of freshly prepared dosas and idlis filled the air, adding to the authentic experience.
Overall, this restaurant is a fantastic choice for anyone who enjoys vegetarian food, especially South Indian cuisine. The quality, taste, and service were all good, making it a place I would highly recommend. I will definitely be visiting again to try more of their...
