Why should only benne dosa have all the fun?

One of my favourite food junction since 25 years. I never missed a visit to this place when I come nearby Mahalakshmi Layout or surrounding areas. It's purely a homemade food i can say. Idli & Puliyogare is very popular among. Superb taste and quality maintained from the beginning. I hope the same remains maintained ever. The smoothest batter post steam bath, “the benne thate idly!”😜

Chutney is the best here. We don't mind buying only chutney. It's soo finger licking. Food combination with the idly & rice items are absolutely amazing delicious 😍🥰

All rice baths are in very good taste. The price is worth for the given quantity food. I liked here more is vangi bath and puliyodhara.The taste is ultimate and It feels like home made. The vada is also really nice.

I got thattu idli and mushroom briyani for dinner . When comes to mushroom briyani taste was good but mushroom quantity is very less , if they had more it can give more taste in that flavour . Thattu idly was very soft and very good , got chutney , but for the size of idly the quantity of chutney give very less for the parcel. For the customer whom they ask they can give little more. He told for me not possible to give more chutney. My request pls give some more chutney or atleast for the customer who request. Even this people will neglect for parcel. For me it was over for one idly and another idly I didn't have enough chutney. For the charge of 25rs per idly sure chutney can be provided little more on request .

Guru Coffee Kendra aka Tatte Idly (called by locals) is a very restaurant in Mahalakshmi Layout. Try their idli vada and also puliyogare. They kadalebele chutney is the best part of the dish which actually completes the dish. The masala vada is also a must try. Budget friendly and the have seating facility. It's usually a bit crowded.
