I wanted to write a detailed review about this place. . I am kinda regular customer. I tried lots of recipes here. . Pro's: Hygiene compared to other restaurants in the area. Tasty food. value for money Friendly service
Cons: Need to maintain hygiene for all the recipes. In the end, it's a hotel. Don't eat regularly here as if you are in pg & this is where you are gonna eat 2-3 times a day for a month or so. You will grow weaker. It doesn't matter how much money you spend here the food won't be enough for our body😖. There are times when you don't get fresh food(like when the crowd is less) Definitely not a place to get a full meal No Zomato or Swiggy Little expensive when compared to nearby competition
My experience: There are few recipes like "Gulaab jamun", "halwa" etc. Please don't buy that. It's not maintained well. Insects live there. There are recipes like "baby corn manchurian" & "Veg fried rice". These are the USP's of this resturant. Order both, ask there to get it little spicy. Take a piece of baby corn manchurian and as u finish tasting it, take a spoon of "veg fried rice". There, you will find Paradise right there😍. Idli, sambar is best If u wanna take a parcel then idli, chutney is tasty. Gobi, mushroom recipes are also good. Rice, sambar are tasty but I didn't find it filling my stomach even though I ate 2 plates at once. Dosa doesn't make the cut. To be honest, dosa's are not as tasty as they should be. Totally not worth the money. . . Overall I recommend anyone to visit this...
Read moreAn Incident that I would like to share with you.I normally visit Matha Sagar for breakfast and coffee.Once during my visit to have an evening coffee, I saw a plate of cucumber salad toppled from the waiters hand.He collected the salad and put it back and kept it in the fridge back.I asked him why he is not throwing it away.He told he will do it later,as he is buzy...I just walked away . The second incident happened yesterday, when I went to have coffee.I was thirsty,so I went to have water, there was no clean glasses.I asked the waiter to get me some clean glasses. He took all the used glasses and in a ziffy, brought the same glasses back and arranged it.I asked him ,as to why ,he didn't wash the used glasses. He replied ,that they don't wash the used glasses, they just arrange it back..When questioned, the reason ?.He replied, the restaurant is always crowded and they never do it,that's how it is..I was shocked to understand that, people coming here are drinking in used glasses. And I was glad that, there is a proper veg restaurant nearby...If anyone visiting MathaSagar just check the waiters taking used glasses and bringing it back..This post is to caution all about the health issue 🙏You must be thinking, why I DIDNT complain to manager.First I thought ,then realised, maybe they are all in it.The manager might just act in front of me,but they might repeat inside .When u walk in, you can just see the wash basin with glasses just...
Read moreThis restaurant is in the main Road and easily visible. Two wheelers can be parked comfortably in front of this hotel. However, some four wheelers can also be parked side by the road, for a while, to have food.
Most of the South Indian and North Indian foods are served here. There are two sections. The ground floor is meant for "serif service" and the first four is meant for "service hall". If one is in hurry and wants to enjoy the food by standing & eating, he can prefer ground floor. If one is free and wants to enjoy the food by sitting... then he can go to first floor, of course, by paying slightly extra cost. The first floor is having a fresh room too, which is just ok.
In addition to this, 2nd floor has got a party hall which can be used to celebrate small family function and get together parties. Of course, vegetarian food can be ordered to one's taste while booking the Party Hall.
The food served here is quite tasty and clean. Rates are nominal. Both the food counter delivery executives in ground floor and food serving boys in first floor are...
