Loved the food. Had ordered Chicken dum biryani and chicken biryani boneless for me and my friend. Food was delicious. Quantity is fine too. Lil pricey i felt. But if one can ignore the price and wants to taste delicious Biryani. Then this is the place. Place is clean although observed people without mask. Sneezing. I know all are humans. But atleast a courtesy of washing hands. My friend was annoyed. Couldn't ask him to ignore cos i understand him too as what we are experiencing worldwide virus. Anyways another dull thing was that the owner (was sitting in the case counter with tshirt and shorts on, so guessing he's the owner) who arrived after we started having food post the lil drama mentioned above. Wasn't even acknowledging with smile which is very important if u need to earn customer as i didn't see any customer other than us and one who came to take parcel. Am sorry am not being rude here. Am just sharing my experience. Otherwise beautiful place, lovely and comfortable seating. And delicious food and lovely presentation too. If you ignore few negativity, rest everything was perfect. I hope owner takes this feedback in a right manner. Deserves 4-5 but then I have observed many restaurants ignore any rating above 4 &5. Sometimes even 3. But i didn't want to be too harsh giving 2. We had gone late and cleaning was going on. The cleaner or waiter whoever that was. Did greet us so warmly (only sneezing was the bad part about him) otherwise only cos of him they deserve one more star i.e. 4 but I'll visit the place again in near future and see as always if they changed their way to a better one. I'll surely share 5. Otherwise The Indians...
Read moreNever order anything out of the menu. They will charge you more than any item. There was Mushroom salt and pepper and Baby corn salt and pepper at (Rs129) on menu and we ordered Paneer salt and pepper they charged us more than any item there at Rs 179 and it was even more than even chicken dry. They would not even give the bill because they say item is not in menu.
Update(After reply): It is not about price at all the price was less and I would have paid even Rs250 had the other preparations of same items were similarly placed And to be happy with reducing price after discussion, I have left more tips than that. What if some one orders for half rice or one chapati? Should they ask for price before ordering or just assume it would be reasonable? What if some one orders one flavor of Ice cream ( say Vanilla) not listed on menu and you decide to bill it more than most premium ice creams just because it was not on menu? Would any one visiting a standard restaurant ask for price of each regular items ( apart from may be seasonal items like fish?)
Any way best of luck running a restaurant in a place filled with options where you lost regular group customers forever...
