One of my most favourite places down South. Trust me, they are good, very good. They tick all the boxes, service - 5/5, food - 5/5, ambience - 5/5, and actually a lot lot lot more!

Now, before you think of anything, let me tell you, these guys have Live Music on Thursdays. Yes, they have an awesome Live Music performance here every Thursday. For the folks who love music, they should and definitely come here. Forget all those places on the outer ring road, come here. But there's just a small tiny catch here. The outdoor seating is close to Metro, and the people who come here are a mix of family as well as folks who generally come to places called as "addas". Although "addas" doesn't always necessarily indicate drunkards at a bar, this place exactly explains the opposite.

Kanhaiya, one of the waiters here, he ensured that my visit is just not some random place. Here people just come here for some good vibe, good drinks, excellent service and some excellent ambience. Kanhaiya just certified me that my visit to this place will be a long term visit, I'm going to visit here more frequently. Even Ishwajeet, helped me with good service. So you do have people in groups of families, families celebrating birthdays, and some bunch of good old friends, just to chill and have conversations about life. This place is a whole package, I've been visiting this exact location for the last 7 years. Don't judge this place by its cover.

Food - 5/5 : Great food here. I've not had a lot of options, but the options tried so far have been great. Like the Egg Chilly, Tandoori Paneer, Mushroom Pepper Dry, Garlic Bread, and much more (actually i can't recall the dishes I've tried at this place, ).

Drinks - 5/5 : They have options, great options. Beer on Tap, Cocktails, Budweiser Premium on Tap, and cocktails, LIT has been my favourite, that would definitely be my recommendation.

Ambience - 5/5 : Great ambience, beautiful interriors. You don't feel like this as an "adda", that's what I meant earlier. This place is a sweet spot between an adda and a pub/bars like that of Tipsy bulls, and the other giants on the ring road. Trust me, come on a Thursday and you can decide on that. They have absolutely beautiful Live Music at this place to make your heart ho Shall-a-la-a-la.... ♥️ One of my favourite singers is Vishal. He's an absolute Gem, I've also had asked him to dedicate a song and he would agreed without a blink of an eye. Thank you Vishal. ♥️ They also play some good music other days. Excellent Playlist. 👌🏼🙌🏼

Service - 5/5 : They score an absolute 10 infact. They are absolutely courteous with every customer. I'm not sure why there's a drop on the ratings at this place actually. But the folks here have always been great. They will share the best recommendations on food, drinks and others. They also have sufficient Parking space for anyone who drops by. I've asked them several times for less iced LIT, they've been kind enough to serve me that.

Now this will be one of my most frequently visiting places as long as they maintain, good service, accept Zomato Pro (🤪😜 seriously, they should), keep the same quality of food, and maintain this absolutely amazing vibe all through.

Thank you team TOT! 🥰♥️...

So Sunday calls for eating out thus my friends and I decided try out this newly opened place called Toast On Terrace. The location is very convenient, situated just beside the Yelachenahalli metro station with ample parking space so reaching the place is no issue. Like the name suggests, the place is located on the roof top and it is visually stunning. There is an outdoor as well as an indoor seating arrangement so you can sit according to your preference. The seats are plush and comfortable making way for one to have a good time! There's a Sunday brunch option where they have unlimited food and beverages... however I opted for the a-la carte menu. Coming to the food: We decided to start with salads. (one for putting some greens in your tummy and one because who am I kidding) We had broccoli- almond salad and chakna platter. For starters we ordered a range of vegetarian and non vegetarian starters. My favourite has to be the tempura Prawns, cheesling chatpata bhel, peri peri fish and hariya murgh tikka. The presentation was simple but neat and chicken was well cooked, tasted great! The chatpata bhel was yummy. It'd go great as an accomplishment with drinks. In main course we decided to mix north indian and Italian dishes. My favourite of lot however were the Italian dishes. The pesto chicken pizza was delicious and quantity was ample. In pizza I tried their vegetarian pizza which was a cheesy thin crust pizza. Loved it. They make woodfire pizza and we were lucky enough to go see the process of it being made. In dessert we tried the popular sizzling brownie with vanilla ice cream and black forest fish bowl. My pick would be the brownie though. Classic.

Sunday brunch also means day drinking. So we ordered a round of cocktails from the menu too. My pick would be Carribbean. It's a rum based cocktail which was pretty concentrated and looked damn nice. Another mention would be mojito- very minty and summer appropriate. The others were a tad bit disappointing.

Sudeep, who was was attending our table did a great job at it. :) If you are around this area and want a beautiful roof top place to hang out ...look no further. If you do your booking via the dineout app then you get an additional...

Editing my review after a few months. Here's my updated feedback:

Mr. Murali is a valuable asset to your restaurant. All necessary supplies are delivered on time, and it's great to have a team member like him—very efficient and consistently reliable.

Previously, Mr. Kanhaiya was also polite and dependable. Without Kanhaiya, there seems to be no TOT! That appears to be the current state regarding TOT.

Mr. Sridhar is efficient and has potential, but unfortunately, he's not performing up to the mark. This is disappointing. He needs to improve his soft skills and customer relationship management, and be more proactive on the front end.

I’ve been a regular visitor to this place since 2022. I usually come here for the decent ambiance nearby and its proximity to the Metro station.

The rates are a bit high compared to other restaurants, and unfortunately, the food is not up to the mark for the price they charge.

The suppliers (servers) are polite initially but tend to take regular customers for granted over time. They should understand their responsibilities and maintain consistent service standards.

No extra onions or cabbage salad is served, even if you order additional dishes. No extra manchow is provided if you order Manchow soup. The suppliers keep repeating "no complimentary" and sometimes even try to dictate how customers should eat and drink in this restaurant, which is quite disappointing.

The funny part is — for Chicken Lollipop, they serve green chutney instead of sauce. If you request Chinese sauce, the suppliers refuse, saying it's not complimentary. It feels like you have to eat according to their preferences, not yours.

I suggest they clearly mention in the menu how much salad or sauce will be served with each dish, so customers know what to expect.

Earlier, the experience and taste were much better, but now I’m totally disappointed with the service, attitude, and food quality.

No stars for this place, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Needs serious improvement in food quality and...

A hidden gem for authentic Naati-style food in the heart of the city! Last weekend, while craving some good old Naati-style comfort food, I stumbled upon Toast on Terrace, and what a delightful find it turned out to be! 💛 Located just opposite the metro station on Kanakapura Road, this open-air restaurant instantly won me over with its cozy vibe, gentle breeze, and beautiful city view. Parking was easy and convenient, which honestly made the experience even smoother. As soon as we walked in, the staff greeted us with warm smiles and were super friendly throughout, even helping us pick their bestsellers from the Naati menu. We started with Aalu Kebabs, Soppina Bonda, Masala Vada, Scrambled Egg, and Mushroom Pepper Fry, each dish bursting with flavour and perfectly spiced. Then came the star of the day — the Mutton Pepper Fry — juicy, spicy, and cooked just the way Naati food lovers like it. The Veg Korma with Parotha and Dosa was comforting and delicious, and we wrapped up with their authentic Naati-style Mutton Biryani that was aromatic, rich, and full of homely flavours. From the food to the service, everything felt just right. The staff made sure we had a great experience and checked in on us with genuine warmth. If you’re looking for a spot that serves true Karnataka flavours in a peaceful open-air ambience with good parking and friendly service, Toast on Terrace is a place you shouldn’t miss! 🌿✨
