I recently visited Sri Nidhi Sagar Restaurant which used to be name by Udupi grand restaurant they have changed the name and The food here is excellent — every dish was fresh, flavorful, and prepared with good attention to detail. The taste felt authentic and homely, especially the South Indian items which were perfectly spiced and served hot.
The restaurant maintains a clean and pleasant atmosphere. It’s well-suited for families, groups, and even solo diners who want a peaceful place to enjoy their meal. Seating is comfortable and the service is quite prompt — the staff are friendly, polite, and always ready to help with menu suggestions or special requests.
One thing I really liked is that they also serve a nice selection of fresh juices, which go really well with the meal. The juice counter offers plenty of options, and everything tasted natural and refreshing — a great way to finish your meal.
For those planning to take food parcels or bulk takeaways, just a small tip: bring your own carry bag. The restaurant does provide carry bags if needed, but they charge ₹10 per bag. It’s good to know in advance if you’re ordering a large quantity.
Pricing is reasonable for the quality and portion size they offer. You definitely get good value for your money here. Overall, Sri Nidhi Sagar is a great place if you’re looking for tasty food, a clean environment, and friendly service. Highly recommended for both dine-in...

The only issue is lack of Parking space. There's a No Parking zone right next to the hotel and the authorities tow away almost immediately.
The Restaurant is full all the time. Finding a table for dining is almost a challenge. There's no queuing either. So that makes it quite difficult. There's no service too. It's a self service mode hotel. The food is quite expensive for the services.
The taste of the food has definitely deteriorated over time. Initially it was very good. But over time, it's not...
