Udupi Vaibhava — Restaurant in Bengaluru

Opened newly in April 2nd week 2023 it seems. No parking at all for 4 wheelers. Difficult for 2 wheeler parking also. You can park about 8-9 two wheelers only. Busy road. Food is absolute failure as of now and the name Udupi is not justified. Tea----disaster Coffee--- just ok South Indian lunch --- not good. Taste is not up to the mark. Looks like the Cooks are inexperienced.

They are NOT able to prepare Masala Dosa & Roti curry to a moderate taste also. The experience was a real upset after spending 400/- for normal items.

Hope they improve the quality in future.

Update after one more visit inMay 2023: Worst ever tasted Set dosa and plain dosa too. Plain Dosa prepared / roasted like Ragi dosa. Set Dosa was sour.....looks like it is prepared from spoilt flour. Despite complaining, they did not care at all. Management needs to be a little sensible in running a restaurant With Udupi brand name. I have decided NOT TO STEP IN TO THIS...

Initially when this restaurant opened newly used to be pocket friendly and food was good. After few months the quantity of food take aways reduced day by day. Recently when tomato and onion prices went up high, these people changed the menu price with 55 to 80% high saying the tomato and onion prices are high and this will be for time being. Today even after the tomatoes and onion prices have gone down they still charge with same price and quantity has reduced by 2/4th of usual one. Taste has also gone down from good to average. I took full meals and tried for the first time, Below average food with none of the staff from Udupi/Kundapura or Mangalore. The Name is to fool customers, everything has been spiced up to make it taste good, but it's not working. I left half a bowl of untouched rice and informed the cashier that please feed it to someone needy, but he did not understand me as I felt he didn't know kannada. When asked again, he just ignored me. Most staff were clueless and running between station. Never ever will I go again...
