Delicious Onion Dosa at Wilson Garden Dosa Camp!
I recently visited Wilson Garden Dosa Camp and had the pleasure of trying their Onion Dosa. Let me tell you, it was absolutely delicious! The taste alone makes this place worth a visit.
Although the ambiance and overall appearance of the restaurant may be average, the flavors of the food more than make up for it. The Onion Dosa was cooked to perfection, with a crispy exterior and a flavorful onion filling. The dosa had just the right amount of spices, giving it a delightful kick without overpowering the taste of the onions.
While the restaurant may not be the most visually appealing, it is the taste that truly shines here. If you're a fan of dosas, particularly onion dosas, I highly recommend giving Wilson Garden Dosa Camp a try. You won't be disappointed!

Read moreFinally, I made it to the Wilson Garden Dosae Camp. I had seen this shop about three years ago when I visited the Janatha Hotel across from it. At the time, I noticed the large crowd but didn't attempt to try it since I was with my family. I visited the place again last week, and as expected, it was crowded. I managed to try their famous Onion Dosae. The taste wasn't particularly special; it was similar to any other Onion Dosae. I believe the large crowd is more due to the price, as the Onion Dosae costs just Rs. 40. This low pricing helps attract a big crowd. However, the place isn't hygienic, making it less ideal for visiting with family. There's hardly any space to stand and eat, as it's located on a busy bus route. Other street food vendors could take a tip from this – keep prices low, and as long as the taste is decent, you'll draw...
Read moreThis place puzzles me. It's a rough joint with very basic seating. Just benches lined up against the walls of two or three narrow passages. No tables; no waiters. On my last visit there was a server who got me my food. There are five items on the menu - idli, kali dosa, onion dosa, masala dosa, rice bath - prices range between ₹25-₹40. But the place is always crowded! Many people eat standing out on the road. And nobody asks for money! I ate onion dosa the two times I went there. It seems to be the most popular item on the menu. It was thick like an uthappam and tasty. Served with delicious coconut and tomato chutneys. The third time I had rice bath: it...
