On Sunday we visited this restaurant, wanna give honest review regarding overall service.
Parking place is there so no need to panic about parking issues. The place is not so big and kind of fully packed kinds if you are visiting this place specially on weekends dinner. Let's talk about the food, we ordered 3 dum biriyani, chicken lahori, chicken butter masala, smoky chicken hammus and tandoor rooti First coming to the smokey chicken hammus it was not worth it at all, it just felt like completely over hyped. Completely blunt no flavors at all which costs us 259 rupees. Not worth it at all wanna give 5/10 just because of the chicken
In the main course butter chicken and lahori chicken. Butter chicken consists of 4 pieces of chicken not so small not so large it was decent neither average not very good. It costs us 289 rupees. Cost wise quantity is not worth it at all, but if we are purchasing something at a cost of 300 rupees then the taste should be extraordinary. It was just decent and good wanna give 7/10
The lahori chicken was complete disappointment, it costs us 269 rupees which consists of 4 medium size chicken pieces, just spicy flavor nothing extraordinary taste just spicy curry which disappointed us a lot. Wanna give 5/10
The tandoor rooti was really dried means I have eaten in so many places but the tandoor rooti was too much dried wanna give 4/10
Finally the showstopper biriyani it has really awsome taste. You can definitely try their dum biriyani which consists of 3 big size chicken with good amount of rice. It was on point with great flavors. Wanna give 8.5/10
Suggestions: The staffs behaviour was really nice but it was too much crowded for which if we are ordering something it will take a long time to wait, because only 3 persons are managing the whole crowds. Kindly increase the waiters strength so that every customer should get a premium service. Kindly consider the review as a suggestion and improve the curry taste quality so that it will be a great experience for entire menu, not just for biriyani and if you are not reducing the price of the curry items kindly increase the amount of chicken in the curry
You can definitely visit this place for biriyani, but one suggestion it's not a place to sit and relax and have a great conversation. It's like order and just finish the food. Because due to such a short space you can't feel comfortable for discussion.
Overall experience was decent so 3.5/5 for...
Read morewe had a pretty good experience overall. We tried, hyderabadi dum chicken biryani, rumali roti, mutton nihari, mutton keema, smoky butter chicken, junglee chicken tikka, and their classic chicken shawarma roll...
The biryani was really tasty, rice was nicely cooked with a hint of sweetness(which was pretty odd but overall nice taste), and the chicken was really soft and juicy...
Rumali rotis were decent in size and soft. Their mutton keema was one of the best things I’ve ever had...full of flavor and went great with the rotis..smoky butter chicken was also delicious and well cooked...
We had the junglee chicken tikka as a starter, which was not that spicy but full of flavor.. really good.
The only dish that didn’t work for me was the mutton nihari... it had no real taste and didn’t feel like mutton at all. Pretty disappointing... especially since it’s supposed to be a best seller...
But the star of the meal was the classic chicken shawarma roll...hands down the best in bhubaneswar...they use hummus instead of mayo, pita bread instead of regular maida bread, and it’s packed with chicken salad, french fries, and creamy hummus.. Want authentic shawarma, highly recommend it...
The place could be a bit cozier... there was a lot of sunlight coming in, which made it less comfortable. Portion sizes were a little small, but the flavours made up for it...prices...
Read moreI crossed this resturant several times but never went inside until this time. Thanks to Zomato for additional flat 20% discount on advance table booking.
The restaurant prepares best hummus in town. The mutton pieces of Nihari were very soft and liked the aroma of spices. Liked the Peshawari Mutton Kebab, its similar to sheikh kebab with flavours of fresh spice. Though breads I have ordered could be better (Zatar Naan and Reshmi Paratha). I did not tried Shawarma and Biriyani in my first visit. But seen both, I will definitely visit again to try Shawarma and Biriyani.
The service is wonderful. Behaviour of the staff was polite and friendly. Price of food is very reasonable. Ample of parking space is available. Washrooms were clean as well.
Just one thing, It felt that there should be more sitting capacity and current sitting is little congested. Winter is coming, I think outdoor sitting won't be a bad idea.
Overall, it's a recommended place if you want to try Lebanese Cuisine or if you love Kebab, Hummus,...
